Is that hacking the 5530 ll help?
If so, could u tell me the steps to hack the phone and its risk n cons?

happy, 13 Jun 2010I don't know whether this thing is already discussed over h... moreyes I agree the sound "before" wasn't that loud. . . I posted already the sound quality of this phone compared with 5220 using the default music player (while the tunewiki of 5530 gave me a louder sound output).. the firmware version was 20.0.080 back then. . .but the new firmware 30.0.090's default music player is louder. . I was somehow suprised even with the loudspeaker it gave it a bit of a boost. . . making the new firmware update worth it. . .the only downside of the new firmware is that they took off the search application on the music player, the transition between switching screen orientation. . . But the new firmware has a way better browser (although I have ah hard time using it yet) but it doesn't crash. . making it 200% better than the crappy old browser (I so hated that old browser it crashes almost everytime) plus kinetic has been dramatically improved,but not the best I saw on an internet device. . music player has better output, plus visual has been enhanced making it good looking than the boring list of tracks with no life of the old music player. . and the kinetic scrolling through tracks are so smooth, about 4x as smooth as the old music player. . . kinetic scrolling through main menus was the 2nd best thing (I am used to dragging the scroll bar down so I wasn't really used to the kinetic scrolling through grid menus) but it was somehow sluggish like scrolling tracks with the old music player. But it's better than the old style scrolling. . but for people who are hackers out there Don't uninstall your hacks. . if you took it off before the update, it'll be hard. . I can't hack it right now. . for the guy who asks about hacking voiding your warranty, no hacking won't. . it's not a type of rebranding your software, but it's a hack that'll sign certificates of softwares for your mobile. . So guys who hacked this phone, just update it,no need to uninstall. . I must find the solution :D

guys, i need help urgently =(..
i had bought an ap set 5530.
How can i install the latest firmware update since mine is not zitron hp?
is there other alternative for me to install the application on nokia ovi store since mine is ap set?
i m afraid to hacking the hp cz i m worry if it ll cancel the warranty availability..

I don't know whether this thing is already discussed over here or not...
I was quite unhappy with the loudness in earphones provided with d set, off course the sound quality is really awesome..
then once, i just plugged these earphones partially... nd d phone asked me to enter d choice i.e headphones, lineout, music stand...
I tapped on Line out, but d sound was not tht crystal clear... so i just plugged it in fully.. nd voila the sound was quite loud with tht same crystal clear sound quality now...

Bad news guys. My 5530 came with broken earphones :( sucks, i wont return it though, i have great earphones than nokia's haha. Anyway, i actually tried the X6 and the touch there sucked... also 5800, the sensitivity also sucks...
Also tried the wifi, youtube works perfectly but facebook is a little slow, also the music services are awesome :)
P.S. always ask to test the phone first, look for cosmetic defects and screen dead pixels as well as working earphones lol

marz, 13 Jun 2010guys, if i am going to install some application on my phone... moreyou can choose where to install an apps,the installer itself will ask you where to install then just select in which memory you want to install it.

updating is no harm at all. touchscreen improved a lot and new music kinetic scrolling is very lovable./ phone got slower but worth it. its still your choice wether to update or not. but its good you update

Dear 5530 users
i hv updated my software n applications
7 applications wr there to b updated, 6 of them wr done quite nicely bt one of those named "Shazam" is giving prbm.
it indicated an internal error n required to reconnect usb n if prbm persists, then to restart pc.
i hv gone through both procedures bt same error is here again...can any one guide me in this regard that wht to do now????

Just got my model of this phone, disappointed that i have a dead pixel on my screen though, but thanks to the high resolution in a smaller screen, you can barely notice it, anyway, overall im impressed, build quality is good, the steel lining is also great and the touch sensitivity is awesome for a first time user of touch phones :D
