I just updated the new Firmware today, and it was just awesome! It's kinda buggy at first. I Love the new MUSIC PLAYER!!!!

install opera mini 10 for best web browsing.. but make sure to turn opera turbo off for it to work fast... its in the settings in opera mini :)

updating wont give harm. actually the phone got much better. though mine slower, i dont mind it bec youll be amazed with the new kinetic scrolling.. better acoustics as well and faster web browsing. i updated via cellphone only

buy this model, and the worst in nokia and had in my life, I am totally disappointed in the brand.
I bought my phone in a store and present four different problems as a result annul the purchase and returned the equipment.
1 A problem of volume up key
2 key lock
3 the software, restarted
4 ruling, the load on the computer connector
I made the claim directly to nokia, and leaves much to be decear you answer a call center abroad which do not give any explanation

can you please help.. what are the importance of updating my 5530XM. what are the advantage and disadvantage of updating this phone. because i have doubt updating my phone for the reason of not running smoothly or encountering a problem after updating my phone. please can you give me the link of trusted site of updated software for this. if your answer convince me.. im looking forward for both of you.

just updated the firmware of my phone and still trying to hack it....but looks like u can't hack it...the improvement on the overall performance is good. ram performance is also improved.
