5530 XpressMusic is the lighter version of 5800 XpressMusic. The features are good. But the life of the battery is not that good so we must bring our charger everytime we travel..

Hello...
I bought this phone a week ago. I use EDGE quite frequently (about 2 hours, daily)... other than that, for calling and everything else.. I use moderately.
Having big trouble with the battery. It only last about 24hours after a full recharge! What could possibly be the reason?

only disadvantage i find here is, it doesnt have 3G and secondary camera..there by u cant make any video call..

Here are your answers.
1) Yeah.. You can watch TV but through web... You know what I'm saying.. Right..? That means if you have good enough internet speed then with a significant cost you can certainly watch TV in your mobile. But you will have to install a 3rd party software for that I'm afraid.
2) 'Hacking' is something which enables you to install anything in your mobile. Not every Nokia mobile can be hacked but certainly most of them can... (It depends upon the software version too...) Regarding Nokia smart mobile hacking you can search in google and find out more details becuase it's a bit complicated area than you think.. But yet easy when you get used to it... But until then, it will sound complicated to you..
3) I'm not a fan of gaming and I've never played 'N-gage' in my life.. So I'm not the best person to answer for this question of yours. However there are games which can be nicely played on touch screen compared to the non-touch screen.. I know one thing.. There are lots of games for 5800 and most of them should be able to be played in this mobile too...

Marco, 23 May 2010The 5800 is a major Nokia phone. The 5530 is just a strippe... more5800! Two years old phone. Production about to close. Software support about to stop. Already running version 50.x. Still lots and lots of bugs. Thats all about the phone mentioned by you is.

The 5800 is a major Nokia phone. The 5530 is just a stripped down version of the 5800. There is nothing better about the phone other than its price.
Of course, you're not missing out on much either. The only major advantages to the 5800 are 3G and GPS , which is kind of major actually because Nokia phones get free navigation.

yes considering those, wifi is still more important than that, if you dont use those, they still have no sense, wifi is the best sense in the phone, accessing internet for free anywhere there is wifi capable, its still your choice

so payng 3k... moreYou loose wifi, look but gain 3G and GPS. I better suggest you 5235 comes with music. It is same as 5230 in features with 3G, GPS, 2MP camera etc but sports tint blue chromium metal frame which gives superior looks, better build quality, better and high end wh701 headset in sales package, free unlimited music subscription of ovi music store. Basically its a music optimized phone and sounds same as of 5530 because of wh701 headsets provided. It costs 8.5 K in India.
5230 = 7 k & 5530= 10.7 K. Choice is yours.
But one thing common that is same s60v5 OS which is powerful though.

montu, comparing it to 5230, 5230 doesnt have the new spice in cellphones that make them exciting, you lose the wifi, cellphones now adays w/o wifi are so called boring, wifi is a big something

i bought a 5530xm yesterday n faced a problem that z whin i click (themes) command to change the cureent theme after it opens than automaticaly goes back to previous page.
im waiting 4 ru suggestions.
