Hei.. It's not that easy to describe what is kinetic scrolling... You have to see it by yourself... It's something like, when you sweep your finger downwards the touch screen, the list scrolls downwards like a non stop flow.. When you do the same upwards same happens to the list in upward direction... Specially when you want to scroll down or scroll up in your contacts list, Music files etc... This feature is awesome.. I really can't imagine about a touch screen mobile without kinetic scrolling because the scrolling experience holding the scroll bar is ridiculous... Please see the following youtube videos by yourself... (Then you'll see what I'm talking about..)

got a question for you guys, wondering to buy Nokia E52 or N5530. which is the best?regardless of the price...i want quality and features of the phone.and also, want to ask how can i update the version if ever i bought the 5530?give me suggestion guys on how can i improve the performance and quality of the music.i was supposed to buy ipod nano 5th gen but then think twice of the amount which i can already bought a new phone which i can use for calls and txting, cam and also music so pls help me about these 5530. Thanks

Get the dialer by pressing green key while in menu, then press this code *#7370#, this is a hard reset code, it will format your phone's internal memory, so before you do this backup your contacts, calendar entries, etc via file manager..
When prompted for password, if you've not changed it then the default one is 12345

have u see the battery indicator bug on 5530 ?? I hd charged my phone to full, past 2 and half days the battery indicator showed full 100% all bars with mild usage of calls/fm radio. For some reason i rebooted the phone, after that the indicator shows 40% from 100% :( looks like a battery indicator bug ????

People, o you know why this phone doesn't have GPS or 3G?
- Because then it will be better phone than 5800! (its better than 5800 even like this)

Well... 3G is not all about Video calling.. It's actually a fast internet connection type.. (Faster than GPRS or EDGE) However 3G coverage is something you don't get everywhere.. I don't know about Philippine... But here in Sri Lanka, We only get 3G in Urban areas... In Rural areas we have to rely upon GPRS always.. 3G internet speed is really faster than GPRS... But only if your area is covered by a 3G network...
Myself, I don't really see such big difference between 2.9" and 3.2". Specially when I find thin, little phones sexier than thick brick size ones.. I really can't complain 2.9" is not enough... Because when 5530 reduces it's screen size by just 0.3" compared to 5800, the length reduction is 7 mm. Width has been reduced by almost 3 mm and thickness has been deducted by 2.5 mm...! I personally don't want extra 7mm X 3 mm X 2.5 mm capacity increase in my mobile just to increase it's screen by 0.3 inches..! That's ridiculous...
Accessing facebook wouldn't be a problem even without 3G... With EDGE you can visit Facebook without any problem I suppose... But the problem is, it'll be pretty slower than that is with 3G... Certain functions will take long time to load...
Kinetic Scrolling...!!! Don't you know 5530 Xpress Music is the first Nokia Mobile which had Kinetic Scrolling...? Few months back so many 5800 and N97 users complained "5530 has kinetic scrolling.. Why we don't...?" etc.. Ultimately Nokia had to give kinetic scrolling to them also (Via firmware updates).
So don't worry about Kinetic Scrolling... It's excellently working in 5530 Xpress Music...!

i liked 5800 because it's complete.
well as i'v told you it's first choice, but now im thinking of getting this one instead.
*the reason why i liked this because of the look. style is simple yet hot. this is the down type of 5800 i believe so lesser features but fair enough for its price since money matters to me.
*would you know what are other things that cannot be done without 3G? aside from video call.
*screen of this unit is a bit small, dont you think it would be a little difficult for us men to use the screen.
*plus if i want to access facebook in this phone not thru wifi but thru network provided 1 day unlimted for Php20, is it possible w/o 3G.
*and lastly what about kinetic scrolling? will it gonna be available in 5530.

No.. it doesn't support TV out function..
In order to know more about 5530, I think you better search and read through the posts here in GSMarena.. They will be pretty helpful... For my last 2 mobile phones I always came to this site and read at least 10 pages of user opinions before go for the deal...

Yeah.. As you said, default Nokia Music Player doesn't have that facility of playing all songs in a single folder (or folders we select) and that is too bad... (I also have that complaint..)
However the 3rd party Music players have that facility... (Eg: PowerMP3 & LCG Jukebox) Try them.. Say 'Bye bye' to the default player...! (Feature wise, quality wise too, the 3rd party players are way better than default Music player... You'll only have some stability & performance problems... but if you're a Music lover and concern very much about Highest Music Quality then you must go for those 3rd party Music players...)
