Can someone help me on this problem? The four shortcut icon of the home screen just disappeared and TELPHONE and CONTACT BUTTON at the bottom of the screen also does not work.

About your problem of lack of phone memory, I can't believe how did you manage from only 2 MB left in your phone memory...!
I've got 38 MB now, and I'm worrying too much each and every time I install a new software whether it'll copy some files to phone memory...
Hard reset will be the only option, but it'll delete all your software you've so far installed to your phone with effort... I think you already have a backup of those so that you can reinstall them easily... Else you will find them in www.dotsis.com anyway...
The code is *#7370# and back up all your messages, contacts before you do your hard reset... And remove your memory card... (Insert it after a format... That's for the best results...)

I am sorry friend because if it's a scratch on the surface (Not on the protective screen sticker right...?) then you will have to replace the screen cover... (Not the screen.. OK...?)
One great thing about Nokia mobiles is that, the screen we touch is not the primary one... They all have outer cover (penetrative plastic cover) which recovers the original screen...
Same applies to 5530 too... So your primary display is OK and protected... But as this mobile is still new in market, you'll have to spend some considerable money to replace the cover...
(Most probably you'll have to buy the whole housing... In ebay Nokia housings are very cheap but I can't really recommend them...)
Try Nokia itself... It'll be expensive but if you really feel that screen cover should be replaced then you'll have to go for it... (But I suppose it's just a small scratch... Then why you worry too much..? Why don't you just ignore it..?)

Anyway if you want something to figure out, I think it's better to solve here rather than in facebook, because if we solve problems here, so many people can see it and they also grab some things.. But if we do it in facebook it'll be private and nobody else will not get the advantages...
I hope you got what I'm saying... Anyway I will surely confirm you as a friend in facebook... But you have to stop treating me this way.. Please stop this 'sir Nuwan' part...!

well, im very happy overall this phone but since I update softwr it cant connect to some wireles lans that I get connected before, :( so no gateway response, and its a shame, thats with I doesnt post as before,,, hails for everyone

hey everyone, i think this phone is amazing, definetely getting it after i get rid of the nokia n81 i have, its a year old today and i have 2 say, its an unreliable model. wont miss it at all

I bought the phone yesterday, its awesome. WiFi, touchscreen, but remember to use your own network if u want to use the internet. I used a data package and lost 7.5 dollars.:(

hey, I just bought 5530, and it is a pretty good phone for me.
Touchscreen with kinetic scrolling. A good wifi set-up. A good 3.15 MP camera, though it's better to have a digi-cam than this and it has an excellent music player.
The bad part though is, there's no GPS, also it has an average battery life, almost similar to the Nokia 5310 Express Music. You might want to charge it again after 24hrs only if you keep using the applications the whole time.
It is cheaper though compared to 5800 and stylish too. This is a must have phone if you ask me. :)

buy the 5530 its cooler and has wifi. 5230 has no wifi.

This phone is alright, but the battery life is rubbish. i have to charge the phone everyday, i just sold the phone to envirofone for £84.95, i was lucky to get that, if you have this phone sell it
