You're not the first person who commented here regarding that problem of yours... However I don't think it's a common problem for 5530.. In any mobile you may face that sort of troubles when you update your firmware.. I mean there is a probability that to happen...
It's very clear that so many people (like me) have successfully updated the firmware without any problem and some have had problems... (Like you) It can happen to any mobile and not only regarding 5530.. That's all I can say for now...
So.. don't worry... Just go on with firmware update... If something happens.. You can go to the Nokia care center and ask for the replacement anyway... You'll get a new mobile too..! Without the 20.0.080 firmware update 5530 doesn't perform well... So better or worst you have to update... If you're that much afraid of it, then go to Nokia care center and let them do it for you... I think they always welcome that sort of things... I hope so...!

So what the hell could this be?? No one seems to know anything. The countdown's got it's own page.. Http://countdown.symbian.org
There re so many speculation going on...one of the hilarious ones is "it's the countdown to apple's announcement of tablet...and surprise it's symbian powered!!" hahahhahaha...

Ivan, 27 Jan 2010You have two diferent names with same number in your phonebookTo save some numbers to speed-dial I had to save those numbers from the sim to the phone memory too so yeah what you say makes sense. Any way round it like maybe renaming the phone contact slightly or is it just the actual phone number triggers it?

Hi guys, quick question regarding contacts? Any ideas why some calls I make and receive show the callers name as saved on my sim and yet others also stored on my sim only show the number? Thanks.

how much time pass from version "v10.0" to "v11,0" "to v20, months or how much time??? maybe its different in all phone models or thepending the bugs, or patches it need... by the way I installed vmenu" app and it doesnt stop until I remove the application from phone...or I doesnt know how to use it because I have too much apps then look like the iphone menu and I cant find the programs fast..

PLZ reply I just bought noki... moremaybe its the problem i had with mine was the broblem when it was off an u turned it on and it only said nokia and thats it if it is just take out the memory card and turn it on if it works just put back in the memory card ass normal :)

FranKiE, 26 Jan 2010i bought this 2 mos. ago and the music player is so bad!!!!... morehonestly this is the best handset I had. talking about music, its the most powerful even with the same earphones came in the box, maybe you had a bug in system, cause this is a phone dedicated to music,pdate software. or hard reset ;)
