As for your question... No dear... I don't think 'Slightly renaming the duplicate contacts' would solve the case...
Think about it this way...
You have exactly the same no with two different names...
And a call comes from that particular no and then your 5530 thinks this way...
"Hmmmm.. A call is coming... But my stupid owner has given me two different names for that same no...! What should I show him...? I'm really confused... I can show him a one name but will he be angry because I didn't show the other instead...? Ooh... My god.. now what can I do....?"
Then finally he decides to show only the no....!!!

Now I think you can get it... Right..?
So brother, you will have to search for those contacts which have been duplicated and delete the duplicate entries manually...! (Without confusing your mobile any more...!)

I'm sorry brother, my knowledge in mobile processor technologies is very very limited so I really don't have any idea except for which the nos say directly... (As anybody else would say '600 MHz should be better than 434 MHz' that's only I too can say.. However I don't think ARM II means something like dual core or core 2 duo or something like that.. It's not a dual core processor what so ever...!)

No... As to my knowledge, there's no such dedicated video chip in 5530... (Even Nokia N97 doesn't)
However Nokia N900 has the both processor and dedicated graphic chip that you have mentioned above..

Both SE Satio and Nokia N900 phones are very expensive mobiles so it's reasonable they have those dedicated chips... And compared to the price of N97, just be thankful to Nokia to give this wonderful mobile with exactly the same hardware configuration (Processor, RAM, Colors & resolution) as N97 for a very cheap price compared to N97...! We really can't expect more.. Can we...?

I don't know how to answer your question because it's complicated... In some aspects 5530 is better while in some 5800 is better... (For an example as for 'Noise' 5800 wins while for 'Stereo cross talk' 5530 wins... Most of other features they both are very similar...)

I would say both phones are very good in Music... Competitive to each other...

But as for the camera, 5800 wins as it has carl zeiss lens which 5530 doesn't have... But on the other hand, I wouldn't say both above phones are very good for indoor photos... (Both phones basically were not intended to take photographs... they're for Music and they do it fairly...) Some people say 5800 photos look little bluish while 5530 photos look bit yellowish... (Just like their screens...!)

You only asked about Camera & music quality so I'm not going to tell any of other differences between the two...

can u please tell what's the difference b/w arm 11 434 mHz cpu and arm cortex a8 600 mHz cpu?
Is there any sgx graphics card (like se satio) in 5530?
And lastly, is there any pdf reader for 5130xm (my mom use it...). please tell where can I found it!

Hi, This fone, nokia 5530 is the quite good - it's the brother of the 5800 Xpress (which I am using) only difference between them is no GPS. Questions about 5530:

- is the stereo surround sound speakers really good? (as it's built on the top and bottom of the fone.
- The price is a good one - you can get it unlocked for $AUS199

I think the problem is this.. You've either stored the same no using two different names... Or else you've saved same name using two different nos...
When there are duplicate entries in contacts, Nokia symbian phones just don't show any name, instead it shows only the no...
Check the particular contacts for duplicate copies.. (May be you've saved the same contact both in phone memory as well as the sim... Then How can a machine identify who's that...? This is just a machine buddy... You have to provide very correct details otherwise it messes the things up...!)

Hei brother... Vmenu is a very good application... You don't have to uninstall it to get rid from it... You can simply find "Vmenu Settings" (or something similar) in menu and you can select "Stop Vmenu" (Or something similar).
I also was worried "How to get rid of this, as the red button and any other way doesn't work out..." But after 10 minutes of hard search in my menu (which had so many applications mixed up) I could find this "Vmenu settings" which gave me the option to stop it...
Hope you'll install it again and check it out...!

I also felt the same way when I compared my 5530 with my previous 5220...
But that's actually a difference in "Noise" rather than a "Quality wise" difference...

I would say 5530 produces very good music but with a quite low noise... That makes some people to think about it as poor music experience...

However I suggest you to install following software to feel the difference... (I highly recommend you not to use default Nokia music player...)

1) LCG Jukebox v 2.5 (For Greatest quality Music but unfortunately noise is low)
2) PowerMP3 1.14 beta (For higher Noise with fairly good music quality..)

I think you better go with the 2nd option as I can see, you concern about the noise rather than the Music quality (high frequency response basically). Because PowerMP3 has options like "Preamp" which can further amplify the sound out put... Not only that it has "Bass Boost", "Loudness" etc which can help you with your issue...

Finally my dear friend.. You can't really compare such a smart phone like 5530 with a basic phone like 5310... Not only because it's not fair... It's not appropriate too... (You can't even think about installing applications like PowerMP3 or LCG Jukebox in such phones. You'll always have to be satisfactory with the default music player regardless of the fact whether it's good or bad... No options what so ever...)

Hei... I really don't understand what you want to know... You mean you can't open the files in memory card or what...? Please mention your question very clearly... So that the people who want to help you can do it better...! For god's sake use some more words to describe what you mean...!

OK... If you mean you don't know where the "file manager" is... I don't know what to say for that... (Because anybody who holds this phone for 15 minute should know where it is...!) But there are people who doesn't like to discover that much... If you're one of them, ok well.. This is where...

Go to menu - applications - file manager

But hei... If you want to back up the contents in the memory card... Why don't you connect your mobile using the USB cable to your computer and do it that way...? It's the most efficient and recommended way... I don't really have any idea what you're going to do brother...!

i had a problem before with my battery of my nokia 5530. Nokia care center repair it its service warranty... now, my phone 5530 has good battery life.. average...
