I received an email from Nokia top official sometime before and he says there is further delay in release of Nokia 5530 in India and he does not say when exactly it will be released here.
Now it is confirmed that Nokia was conducting all their press meet only to create hype in the consumer mind and trying to fool them with their false announcements.

Have you guys checked the memory card that came with you 5530? i checked and it was a 4gb SDHC class 2 memory card, and thats the reason why it takes 1.5 hours to transfer 3gb+ of songs.
I'm just wondering if you guys have the same memory card class or it is different depending on the market location?

I bought a 5530 myself, but have a question now. When you have to choose a internetconnection, there appears a little flag next to the choice "mobile internet". But sometimes there is no little flag at all. What does the flag stand for?

Are the applications in nokia 5800 compatible with 5530? I had a 5800 but unfortunately it got stolen, and I can say it was the best phone I ever had. I wanted to but 5530 so I could use the same apps stored in my computer.

hi i sold my 5800 one month old for 10k to buy 5530 when i see new ver40 i repent like any thing i think ill buy again 5800 bcoz this is the only phone which has every thing one need in phone i don't think if any one see v40 will go to buy for 5530 i dont bother whether Nokia release it in India or not im happy with 5800 which dream phone for Indians

w00t, 16 Jan 2010BTW i just tried using a DJ monitor headphones on my 5530 a... moreI agree, my 5530 kinda sounds lower compared to my 5220, i used both my bose and sennheiser and still the sound on the 5530 seems lower...

Guest, 17 Jan 2010Hey guys, i need some help with choosing which phone to buy... moreI'm currently using 5220 and 5530, both sounds good when using the same headphones but the 5530 has a way better headphones included in the box.... also the speakers of the 5530 is better compared to 5220.... it is also hard to search music on 5220 because the music player does not have a search function

i have an issue with this unit which is unable to receive any sms messages. i have tried deleting all the messages on the inbox and outbox. performed also a factory reset but still it wont receive any sms messages. the only time it will receive messages is when i selected the option which is "sim messages" on new message. please help
