i have an issue with this unit which is unable to receive any sms messages. i have tried deleting all the messages on the inbox and outbox. performed also a factory reset but still it wont receive any sms messages. the only time it will receive messages is when i selected the option which is "sim messages" on new message. please help

Hey guys, i need some help with choosing which phone to buy. I need a high quality music phone that sounds really good in the phone's headphones and speakers. Should i buy the nokia 5220 xpress music or the nokia 5530 xpress music??? Which one has a better music player? Pls help me, thanks!

Dear Sujith,
I just sent you the English version of TTPod together with the patch to your email address... With that file you don't have to worry about copying and pasting any file in to anywhere... Just install the application as well as the patch.. Then it'll work just fine...

Hi can someone help me i a bought Nokia 5530 last week and there was some problem (Internet Browser crashed every 5 min)so i got my money because out of stock.
So will get Nokia 5530 again or buy Nokia 5800

its a brill phone works good on wifi its cost me 109 uk pounds and i got 107 uk pounds back of o2 when i did an upgrade so basicily i got the nokia5530 for 2pound happy days

can any body tell me how i would be able to to see streaming videos on youtube ,i connected my phone through wi-fi
but when i open youtube i couldnt able to open the video streaming it show an arror of [unable to connect] site are being open on my phone but i am not able to see online video ???
any solution???

balu, 16 Jan 2010comparing 5530 to 5800...... 5800 is the best..... now the ... moreheyy but in my country (indonesia) 5800 is more expensive than 5530 .
5800 is around $310 and 5530 is only $250 .
so i prefer this perfect perfect cheap phone :)

w00t, 16 Jan 2010BTW i just tried using a DJ monitor headphones on my 5530 a... morewell the 5530 sounds very good for me, and even with nokia earphones, even better than sonys walkmans.. if you dont like then buy a senhser(something like that) earphones as a friend suggest me. maybe its because Ive never heard the 5220, but its better the functions in 5530 to change it for 5220 just because of music sound, then but an ipod (by the way IPhone sucks) and for the person asking if my ttpod is in english ??..; nop is chineze or japanese and doesnt work remained as system error..

I received an email from Nokia top official sometime before and he says there is further delay in release of this phone in India and he does not say when exactly it will be released here.
Now it is confirmed that Nokia was conducting all their press meet only to create hype in the consumer mind and trying to fool them with their false announcements.

comparing 5530 to 5800...... 5800 is the best..... now the 5800 update is same as 5530...... 5800(13k)is cheaper than 5530(not less than 15k) in india.... 5800 has got bigger screen,3g,8gb card inbox,sennheiser head set....... where its absent in 5530(only 4gbcard in box)........ only thing is 5530 is slimmer and has very stylish look with steel frame.......5800 has got longer battery life and music play back time(35hrs).........so 5800 is the best one

icebeyb, 16 Jan 2010the handset's wi-fi enabled right? does it play youtube vid... moreIts an xcellent fone I have been using for last 4 months now...... wi-fi works fantastic...can download/upload stuff (offcourse depends upon the Internet speed) but too good in watching in online videos (youtube/streaming videos/pod casts).

Hey everyone I am thinking of buying either the 5530 or 5800 because of the new software update they now have the same user interface, but i'm just wondering is it ok to watch movies on them, the file size won't make the phone lag, and what about memory cards, can they really handle 16gb micro sd or 8gb better?
