can u please say me how to get english ver... moregoto the site i previously posted, there you'll see three attachments, one of them is english.zip, extract the file contained in it and place it in E:\resource\apps. Your language will be changed.
There are some cool themes for the app in the same site check them out too.

nuwan, thanks for the reply. but i already tried that and the wallpaper in the home screen is still taking up the whole screen. the top of the screen the theme's wallpaper is still showing on the top of the display, which is kind of annoying. Anyway, im wrote this message in 5530, so far so good!

Nuwan, 15 Jan 2010Dear luisito, I'm really happy that you've achieved to d... morewhen there are companies monopolies that has branded their phone they put some limitations for people,s phones to sell apps, games, themes,etc if youre phone islocked then you pay for lots of things apart from the money you got to pay for your plan contract/ i used a program called (nss) nemesis service suite, if detects your conected phone and read the information there are 5 things code(the one you have to change setting to enable) serial number this never checkit, and others, then delete the code, you must search the web for''nokia 5530 codes and find a region that probably has your phone lenguaje(because the software you download will be in your phone) when you find the 7 numbers code tipe it and push write on nss, and voala your code has been change, then nokia sorftware updater and if theres new software it will tell you,mine was 10.0 and finded 20.0 works better(one strange thing is it doesnt delete my messages contacts and installed programs, as my past updates that reset to factory settings the phone, so even make shure to make a copy in the ovi suite just in case..

They said it will come in the mid of Feb. since they have just launched the 5230. Hmm.... the wait is too long. I should have bought it from outside the country without warranty itself.

Please don't be... morehi dude ttpod is a music player nd it is available for the s60v5 phones nd i think u will get a widget on the home screen nd we can chang the themes od this widget by changing the theme of the player .but i am un able to install it on my nokia 5530 .there will be a patch4rull file withe the main installation.after installin the ttpod wen we try to run it it says system error .so we have to install the patch named"patch4run"but the patch is not gettin installed it gives some msg nd stops getin installed.so can u plz help me with dis...

ive been using this phone for 1 month and idont have any problem. video is clear about 30fps. image is ok. kinetic scrolling is nice. video playing is very good especially on hd movies. very sharp and crisp.

Regarding your first doubt... Please don't be afraid.. This is a very solid phone and you don't have to worry what so ever whether it'll break or not...
If I tell you about me... I'm not a careful mobile user.. I also worried just like you because the previous phone I used (which was also a Nokia one) I drop it carelessly and didn't give me any trouble what so ever.. So when I moved to this touchscreen mobile I thought I must be careful.. But now I don't think so... Though I don't recommend you to drop it and check... I'm pretty much confident about the production quality of the phone and yeah... it's pretty solid...! (Just go ahead and buy it.. you will not regret brother...)
Besides it has a 'Stainless steel frame' around the screen and you're more secured....!
Hacking a mobile is "to make your phone more useful by making it flexible for various software installations..." that is my definition of hacking... (Somebody correct me if I'm wrong...)
By default Nokia symbian phones wouldn't allow you to install any software as you wish and it's very annoying... You'll get to know it when you want to install your favorite software in your phone and when you can't do that...
Then hacking will be the best solution...
I know this term "Hacking" is making people very nervous...! We should use another beautiful name like "Brightening" or something..! Because it indeed brightens your mobile..!

Unfortunately it's not very clear what do you want...
However do the followings and I think that's what you may have expected.
First select any image you wanted to see as the wall paper and set it as wallpaper... (Open the image click options then use image - set as wall paper)
Now,
Go to menu - Settings - Personal - Home screen - Home screen theme and select "Basic"
Is it what you were looking for...?

and i read the previous comments about hacking or something . what does it do to the phone? does it make this better, faster, or what?
