im having issues with regard to receiving sms. my 5530 will not receive any sms messages. the only time it will receive this messages is by restarting the unit. please help...

Nokia 5530xm has the most frustrating problem of all the cellphones I've had. This phone shuts down everytime you make or take a call. I don't know the reason why. As I have read from forums it may have something to do with an application bug or whatnot. I have yet to bring my phone to a nokia center. I'll give you an update as to what thier solution is...

can u guys tell after hacking my pho... morethe warranty card of nokia care does state that damage due to any symbian java unauthorized software isn't covered..
but i'm not sure, last time i completely damaged by phone while trying to update the firmware using nsu, i took it nokia care, they just asked me what the problem was, i told them that it wouldn't start and then after 4 days they gave me a new one..

1 Go to settings
2 then click Personal
3 click Home Screen
4 click Home Screen Theme
5 then put a check mark on basics.

Hi Sarah,
I also experienced about the headphone. At first I thought that the unit I bought was defective or something. When you insert the headphone in the unit, you should hear a click meaning that the headset is already in its proper place. Push it a little more. if you still experience it eventhough the headfone is in proper place, you can always asks for replacement since you have a nokia care card.

Hi mates. .
I got this beauty yesterday and i'm loving it so far. The only problem i found is that when ever i try to use Headset i get sound(very loud and clear actually) coming out from only one speaker and almost zero from the other one. Is there something wrong with my headset or does it come as it is?
I have also heard that this is a surround sound headset due to which i'm getting such kind of effect. Is it true or what???
What do i do now to get rid of this headache? :(
