i think one the main reason not this phone in indian market is due to price factor for 13000rs 5800 is available and , 10000rs e63 is there and for 8000rs 5230 and for 14000 e71 available Nokia is not judging what price they should launch and on other side Samsung launching every week new phones in market with competitive price what U SAYS GUYS IM A RIGHT,,,,,

Hei... Are you that amazed by the Nokia's own headset...? Oops..! Personally I consider them better than rest of Nokia headsets but compared to "Creative" or "Sennheiser" Nokia's default headset sucks..! Dear brother... You must experience creative or sennheiser as soon as possible... If you do, you will not even think about your Nokia headset ever again...!
And one more advice... Don't use the default equalizer settings in Nokia phones... Bass Booster is OK but it only delivers low frequencies which is not what we need... So it's better if you can make your own equalizer style manually which best suits to your needs.
My equalizer style is as follows. (Considering any single band can be changed from -12 to +12)
1st band: +6
2nd band: -5
3rd band: -3
4th band: 0
5th band: +5
6th band: +7
7th band: +8
8th band: +6
And turn off "Loudness" and "Stereo Widening" options.
Now you are good to go... (But remember to buy Creative or Sennheiser headset first of all...!)

Yes.. Of course you can install "fring" in it and make phone calls as well. (If you are in a wifi zone...)
Now I'm using "Nimbuzz" instead of "fring" which attracted me more.

But now again I was made to understand that sound quality changes indicated in those test results may be due to software firmware differences..!
I thought it should be hardware characteristics only...
If those reading can be changed by firmware updates,
Then why the hell Nokia don't try that...???
I don't know why Nokia is being this much careless...
If I were that companies Quality control manger, then I would have showed them something better can be done...!

Yes... For me, the phone is made in Hungary...
But Battery (Genuine), Charger (Genuine), Headset (Genuine) all made in china...
Don't worry about it..
As all of them made by Nokia itself, you don't have to worry whether it's from China or Hungary...

Hi All i checked univercell in hyd at ameerpet then dont have 5230 also they said it will take more then week to come 5230 it self forget 5530 may come last week of Jan or first week of Feb it will come in market as per them he advice me to buy either e63 or e71 which are better then touch screeen phones and very durable your advice friends,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Nuwan, 05 Jan 2010Dear Cyber-Shot under dog (Or any other person who knows be... morewhen i first saw the earphones in the 5530 box i though they looked cheap but when i put it in my ear it was a blast, they sounded amazing, better than k800 and k850 and n80 and n97 maybe the earphones or the stereo speakers, but in case that my 5530 sound less bass than some ericsson then I can adjust the 5 band equalizer or set to bass , I realize too that battery in wifi last much more than n95 and samsung jack and n91 etc, by the way I would like to know the better way to change the code of my 5530 to update firmware cause mine is 10.0.1 and we go now in 21.0 isnt it?? what can I use? nsu or what? thanx

So he said we may get to know the exact date in abt 3 days.. Lets see..

Nuwan, 05 Jan 2010Dear Cyber-Shot under dog (Or any other person who knows be... moregsmarena tests the mobile phones that record and analyze sounds (although i forgot what the device is called) the just plugged it in the audio jack and not some record ver mic thing. They play some sample sounds lije a big beep, afterwards a sample music is played (only one and the same) tHEN a graph s shown.. And now it'showed here.. But I knothat's how they test the quality.. Maybe what you said s true, that they can produce the music chip with other mdels, byt the are some certain difference like the mother board,the audio jack connector, the power consumption, this however can make a huge difference that's why there are a lot of different readings.. Although I can't say why that the 5220 had much lower readings, but it mght be a probability that by that time the software wasn't updated or either the sample song ( or genre wasn't enough to make the 5220 shine due to weaknesses but the 5220 plays great with acoustics)
So that's all I can say for now, my 5530 had a defect, the motion sensor is the defect.. Because when I turn on my hone it desn't rotate, but if i restarted my phne it's okagan and then whn i turn it ff and n again, it happens again.. Going to the nokia store, so O might not be replyng for your post fpr a while

Had been to npd again.. Atleast the ads for the mobile have come now.. And when asked abt the cell release he said he will tell the exact date within the next 2-3 days.. Hope so he does..
