and i hve 1 problem i cant find the painting pad. I asked if this phone has a painting pad b4 i buy it and 3 people replied that it has.
plz reply if u can tel me how 2 open the painting pad.

I successfully installed Concise Oxford Dictionary in this phone but somehow it can not be used (simply disappears, though when I checked MicroSD card I can see it).
So strange.

Any 5530 owner if are thinking of updating their software then i suggest you go to nokia care than using NSU. I tried updating mine using it, and it did updated the software i guess but the phone never turned on.. Thank god to warrenty i got a new one! I am taking it to nokia care again day after tomorrow to update the software to v20..

One more point to note is that it did not turn up in Nokia's christmas sale either which lasts till Jan4. So pretty sure it wouldnt be out before Jan4th.

I don't know what the hell ... moreYep thats good to hear that you are enjoying your phone, BUT not jealous, happy for it.
More than willing to visit the island but we dont get warranty if purchased outside the country, the very reason why I am still not holding the phone in my hand. Else there were offers in US for as low as 170 USD.. in DELLs website ( not just some crap website ) just 8K INR... and my friends were also coming at the same time too. Its just for the warranty thats holding me still.

Which 1 is the better 5530 or 5800. I Think 5800 becoz itz features r more powerfull.

Dear all friends in India,
I don't know what the hell is wrong with Nokia India... I heard they want to sell all the 5800 s left and after that they are going to sell 5530. (Because they - I mean Nokia India - are too afraid that after the arrival of 5530, nobody will buy 5800...! Well.. I don't know for sure.. I saw that type of comments in this site...)
Because in Sri Lanka this phone was available since September 2009. (A month after the phone was released)
These days I've installed "Crickinfo" widget in my 5530 and receiving live updates of Sri Lanka - India cricket match every 10 seconds...! Jealous...?
Why don't you guys come visit our Island and buy the phone too...!

Is it really launched in India, I mean are the phones physically available at the stores now. I see it as "coming soon" still in the Nokia India website. Is it really out there close to me. Hard to believe.
NPD said its going to get released at a very low price. But all the websites also say its 14k. This is the same price that came in the newspapers in August when Nokia announced these phones in India and it was also mentioned early 2010. So looks like they are standing by their words in all means. Its just we that kept hoping it will be released each month everyweek.
