same here! I have a co.worker using 5800 and observed that phone was too big, and its look like a small lunchbox that you put a lot. unlike the 5530 really really sexy.

jan, 21 Dec 2009hello to all 5530 XM users :) i also am one, btw.i would ju... morethats normal! but my phone takes 1 to 1 and a half hour in charging! and f*** and liar for those who said that their phone last for 3 to 4 days even listening...

Dear Sun,
I think most of the people including you, are shouting about 5800 here.. Telling that it's better than this... mainly because,
1) You've paid it a lot more than this
2) You've bought it recently (not more than a year ago) and now see a better phone with a lower price and regret...!
However about the battery life... I agree with most of people who tell the battery only lasts 1.5 days or maximum 2.5 days... (GSMarena is wrong on their review and most of the fans who claims it has 4 or 5 days of battery life... They should be wrong... I'm sure about it... Unless they don't use the phone at all...!)
However I always carry the charger with me... (Buy a car charger and a USB charger... That'll do...) So I never face low battery problem...

First of all you have a nice nick name...!
Now to your question about stereo speakers...
You couldn't see them...? Are you blind brother...?
Because for me, when I look at the pictures of the phone the speakers are among the first noticeable features in this phone...
Ok.. Look.. I think you've looked at the back side of the phone for stereo speakers...
Not like others... This phone has front stereo speakers... (The dotted areas of up and down of the front screen.. There are your stereo speakers dude..!)
And for the sound... It's great... I mean it produces fair enough sound and very good compared to most of other Nokia phones....
Please look at more pictures of the phone...

the truth is 5530 is more nice and shiny than 5800 I dont use 3g just wifi, gps either, the touch response is better on 5530, in my country 5800 cost almost the double, the battery life in 5530 doesnt las as gsm arena said in their review, only last 1.5 days.the sound is awesome in hearphones, the camera button is low quality plastic and fails, the menus and screen are great and fast,no icons and happyfaces to send in text messages, the wifi is amazing, (download opera mobile beta)I dont like the iphone, the price of 5530 is mid range compared to others like star or cooky is better than more expensive touch phones, and had lot of apps and wifi, is good cause is good not only cause some compare it to expensive phones like 5800 etc :)

Hey dudes :D i will tell to santa to buy to me those 5530 because i like it and its perfect to me because in Bulgaria 3g dont work verry gut and i dont need gps ... but i have 1 question i see that its (phone) have stereo speakers but were are they ... because i can't see them on pic's ? i hope u understand my "good" english :D happy holidays all :)

Anonymous, 21 Dec 2009with the new firmware gps is available in this handset.Only if u have a external bluetooth gps device.. It doesn't have the internal gps hardware..

i would say maximum 1 day of battery life.

Hi ALL is this forum meant to complain of nokia 5800 everyone says nokia 5800 negative comments is it only becoz u holds in u r hand 5530 ***k u all i have nokia 5800 which tooooo goooood then this phone in every thing its very manly phone sound output is xlnttt camera qua is tooooog gooooooood in outdoor as all phones are same problem big screen very guuud touch response i used creative ep 630 inear phones after that i forgot to start my home theatre i give 100% votes to nokia 5800 -nokia is gr8,,,,,,,,,jai hind

Hi everyone. Can someone tell me about the initial charging of this phone's battery? Do you have to drain it first before charging it? How long is the initial charge gonna be? Do you have to put up with 3 or more "perfect" charging cycles to achieve the battery's optimum performance?
- got lots of questions about the batter because apparently, many people complain about it. We need to sort the problems on hardware and owner usage.
- Can you also comment on how the battery would last long as correlated with the cellphone activities i.e. WIFI use, taking pictures, music, applications, ...
