kkabirk, 14 Dec 2009my phone says that the firmware package is not compatible w... morei also try thru fota method but when im installing it says its not compatible with my device,is this update was released by region or globally?

Its been a week since I bought this phone. And its really great. The new firmware version for this phone is more awesome than the old firmware. Anyone knows where to find good mp3 tones and wallpapers for this phone? I bought it here in Olongapo City for 11,500 pesos. I got the Blue & White Nokia 5530 XM :]

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970i have both samsung star and 5530 and i think nokia is more fun have alot of apps, the only difference i NOTICE IS in samsung you can watch powerpoints in nokia, only installing some cool apps. but the touchcreen is very good internet browsing on samsung was bad ...everybody ask me if my fone(STAR WAS BLACKBERRY)nokia is better cause have all from the 5800 nokia without video call, and touchcreen is fast on 5530, hapo this help you

OMG. im using this phone for about 2 weeks. and its awesome. battery is so strong. speakers are head banging headsets also. no cons for this phone. i love it so much :)) ive got a blue white 5530 here :)

I have been using this phone for the past 3 months.This phone has got almost all the features of a advanced phone except GPS. I have tested most of the features and everything works fine.No hardware or software issues till now.The battery power remains for 2 to 3 days and more than 4 days for normal calling and messaging.I recommend this phone for average people like me.

i also think this is a better buy, sum of us really dont use the 3g nor the gps, it only adds to ur bills lol..

Im also planning to buy this phone this Christmas... moreei kyle en karl im also from the phil. I just bought dis fone last week.. Im from antipolo i bought it 4 only 12,300 in card but if u r going 2 buy it in cash u can get it 4 11,6oo and if ur located near sm megamall it is much cheaper 11,300.. Its much cheaper than 13k just in case ur near 2 megamall or robnson's metroeast.. Just gving u an idea..:)

Hi everyone ...im using this phone from the last 1 month its awesome it has all the features which i wanted..the only prob im facing is its random restart...usally happens during messaging which is annoying...have anybody faced such a problem???
