its says it not officially announced
u will get the phone but no warranty
so guys shud i go for it for 12000 bucks

Anonymous, 05 Dec 2009to all who have 5530 now.. what can you say about its ba... moremine last for 3 days for normal use my suggestion is do not recharge your battery until it display a low batt message and do not over charge it when its full disconnect the ac charger to give your battery a longer life

just a clarification, the keypad is both alphanumeric and qwerty? coz i'm not really a fan of qwerty keypad.. but as long as it has the normal alphanumeric keypad, i'm good.. so it's both or w/c one is w/c?

i bought it last week, and i noticed that its battery life is not that good. i think it only lasted an average of 2 days (less)..

to all who have 5530 now..
what can you say about its battery life? if you were to text around 150 messages a day, would the battery get drained easily? and i hope the problems of some users wont happen to me cause im planning to buy this phone this month..

My bf just bought one last week. IMHO, the 5530 looks better than the 5800. It is also thinner and does not look plasticky. I hope Nokia dishes out a version that has 3G.
Also, I wish Nokia makes better maps for the Philippines. What they have now for Philippine users is practically useless.

Had the phone for a week now. Really impressed with the 2.9" touchscreen. Very intuitive and having an alphanumeric keypad in addition to the qwerty keyboard is really a plus in my book. I once had an iphone 3g which I sold after one month. Too cumbersome to use, no bluetooth and unremarkble camera. I wouldn't wish to have my Iphone back in exchange for my Nokia 5530.ü

You can customize the alerts
Settings->Persoanl->Profiles. Here choose any profile. Goto options and customize as you want.
So can have diff tones for diff alerts.
