Ian...........i recommend you buying nokia 5530 because i lighter version of the nokia 5800 and because it is cheap i recommend you buying it....it is like the 5800 on difference is that it DOES NOT HAVE a gps nokia maps and its not a 3g phone. if your a music lover guys i recommend you getting this....dont wait for the next model because the nokia x6 cost around 850$ to much just for a phone....:)

This phone seems very similar 2 the Nokia 5800. My brother has the 5800 and he says it is good. i have used it once r twice and i think it is a good phone. at the moment i have the sony ericsson K800i. i do not recomend this phone at all! i was thinking of buying the 5530... does any one reccomend this phone? or should i wait for a different phone?(please say which one)

this phone really rocks, slim, stylus is attached in the phone not separate.
the absence of 3g is handled by wi-fi,,, what a rockin phone..

bought this phone two days ago...
I like its design over 5800's. Decent spec's for its price. the only draw back is the lack of customization of the home screen. Previous versions of S60 Symbian gave many options to users to customize the short cuts ( i have owned an N78 before this) but this version does not give many options regarding shortcuts.
The phone already restarted twice in two days but came back online in less than 2 minutes. I hope Nokia updates the firmware soon.
