I have a question.what I can do with the nokia maps installed in the phone and at the same time there is no GPS...so how can I use it?and what can I use it for?thx

You can customize or personlize your profile or your phone display try to lessen its screen brigtness, remove vibrating alerts, as what i did with my 5530. It works for me, the battery power is longer that it was on its default setting(factory settings).

I bought the phone for around P11,900.00 (Philippine peso). The phone is very good it has all the feature I need. I can even use its wifi/internet connectivity even accross a proxy server. The only problem it seems to have is the battery life, but if you r going to remove vibrating alert, lessen the brigthness of the screen the battery will last long. Its speaker system is very good, so do its camera (still image is good). It is really a great phone, a bit cheaper in price, and it offers a lot. :)

HOW DO I PROPERLY CHARGE THE PHONE?????
1. I would charge it as soon as i bought the phone home? (8 hours)
ORRRRR
2. Use the phone on regular basis. Don't charge it for a while. And wait until the battery gets LOW or one bar, then start charging it for the first time. (8 hours)
OR can sumone pls... answer especially to those who hav no prob in their battery life.. :D

This phone was release in Philippines 1 month ago. It's nice than the 5800.

hey guys dnt wait 4 dis phone dis is nt going 2 launch dis yr der r many prob in dis cel phone so nokia is nt going 2 launch it nw....my uncle is a nokia priority dealer he told me bettr go fr 5800 or 5230....nokia disappointed me also i ws waiting 4 dis cel 4m lst 5 mnthns.......

it's not yet launched into the ... morei called the person in the neoteric (authorised distributor of nokia phones in Nepal) from where i got my 5530 about a month ago and asked him about the market launch of the phone.. but he was unsure of the exact date, he just said soon, he told me that they shall distribute the phones to the dealers once they get the confirmation from Nokia, but seems like no sign of it yet..
few of my friends here are going to get the phone directly from him, i shall tell you the price as soon as they get it..
but i think that 5800 at 13k-14k would be a good deal over waiting for 5530..
nokia has improved the looks on 5530 but still it could do much better, the phone looks very cool when you look at it's screen but when you turn it around or look at it from a distance it looks like a small chinese-toy-phone...this is just my own view, other people could feel the other way..

i bought about $235, it really good have little problem with battery then its fine.
