U guys need to understand..this phone use a resistive type of touch screen. Not capacitive such as iphone, ipod touch or samsung Jet..etc.However both have its pros and cons.
Capacitive touchscreen displays rely on the electrical properties of the human body to detect when and where on a display the user touching. bcoz of this, capacitive displays can be controlled with very light touches of a finger BUT cannot be used with a mechanical stylus or a gloved hand.
Resistive touchscreen such as this phone require a lil bit of pressure from the finger. User can also use stylus, gloves or anythin to navigate through this type of touchscreen.

Hey frnds really upset b'cas there is a wicked problem in my handset..Sensor settings works only in auto rotation, silencing calls & alarm snoozing not working... Hey remember how everyone was all like the battery doesn't last enough, well I reduced the screen brightness to like 40%, and battery has improved. Hope this helps!!

my 5530 hangs a lot. D only reason i have not smashed it wid a hammer yet is because i use it as my music player!

guys after using the ipod touch, i bought this phone then i thought the kinetic scrolling was the same as the ipod touch. well i was disappointed. it sucks a bit.

5800 kinetics in .v4, 434MHz uP already in .v3.

I am looking for a phone which can play an internet radio station in its own music player ie, I type in a streaming radio site url and it plays the stream(just like the "play URL" in Winamp or WM player in PCs). Any Nokia phone supporting this?

it's being sold for 12,000 in trinoma. 5800 is far better than this one.
nokia has fixed almost a hundred % in both software and hardware of 5800 so maybe after a one time firmupdate you can enjoy your fone downloading etc. for 3-4 years.
only that there's been rumors that nokia stopped production of the 5800 so it may be not available in the 2nd quarter of the coming year. But take note that firmware update will still be available until all posible bugs are fixed.
it's a good fone obviously nokia made it!
but also think of the idea that nokia removed other features in this fone so possibly on the following units of this series the features will be available agaid, only that a little expensive ofcourse.

Every one here seem to comment about this phone, but I am wondering if anyone can tell for sure when will this phone be available in India?
Is Nokia waiting to fix all the issues(both hardware and software) and then release it next year?

5800 is much better then this 5800is solid phone out put is xlnt compare to 5530 cam is better and 5800 is as fast as 5530 but 5800 has more features then this ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,check ur self friends
