Mangesh...u r absolutely right.....we will get updates infact the recent one with headphones have one higher version updates already......
I would have loved to loose on 3g with 5530, but no pint waiting now.....I have already decided to go for 5800...Even I am planning to go for it today..Mangesh lets go for it....
About thickness/weight :
N73 : 19mm/116
5800: 16mm/109
5800 is 3mm less than n73...I have used n73 for more than 2 years so i won't feel 5800 bulky..Its infact less bulky than my n73.....

3G won't come before nxt OCT & will still b costly 2 think of.
But 4 me main thing now is m tired of waiting 4 this phone.
NOKIA sux now in marketing .
Samsung is now taking over Nokia plc.

Main problem is not getting international warranty. If anything happens to the phone u'll have to ask ur frequent traveller friend to take it back to US :-(

If we buy 5530, after some months we'll feel like we miss GPS,3G (when 3G becomes operational in india), then we'll feel we should have gone for 5800. :-(
My dad has N73m, but support/firmware updates still available. Famous phones always have support.
Shall we buy 5800 today?

i'm planin to buy this phone and so did a lil research. i found the phone interesting but the camera quality is the only thing holding me back. i've tested 5800 camera and was not satisfied by the camera.
SO I'D LIKE TO KNOW IF THE CAMERA QUALITY OF 5530 IS BETTER THAN 5800...????

Indian market is one of the jaint market for Nokia's production.
Thats why they pressured the 5800Xm sales with lowprice and free high quality headsets..
So our badness after finishing the 5800 stocks we may get 5530 in our hands...

AD, 28 Sep 2009what makes u take decision of 5800 against Star wifi?
plz ... more@AD...Buddy...Samsung wifi is not an smart phone..thats the main disadvantage.....If u don't want any third party apps to install n use in future..u can surely go for lg cookie or samsung star...
Both are java based UI design...they doesn't have full fledged OS where u can design ur own apps.....

@Mani.....Its true its lill bulky than 5530, but its almost same width as n73 which i was using for last 2 years....Even i beleive 5800 production will stop.
About end of sale of 5800....I beleive people should buy it as it is the best price available now....and u will keep getting the updates even after end of sale....infact nokia also stop n73 production for quite sometime now....but still we are getting updates....
The reason is nokia supports for the phones which are on high sale....so u will expect updates for 5800 for sure in future also.....also most of the issues has been resolved in 5800 by now...

i had the phone for 2 days and its now frozen on my home screen. removing battery, SIM and SD does not help. i restart it and it freezes again. there's no hard reset button. a big piece of junk that nokia pooped out.

Nokia is making space for the 5530 and 5800 Navigation Edition.
