I have one of these and can tell you its a fantastic mobile in every way. Nokia have done good. Also when you record your own voice on voice recorder the quality is so crisp when played on the ace stereo speakers. Music quality great screen is so sharp and bright the screen resolution is so sharp you can't see each pixel. Pics from camera look sharp and clear on screen so does video. Menus are fast brisk easy to use and so is internet very easy to scroll. Build is great except battery cover which wobbles a little not much but does not fall off. Everything is good. Nokia have produced the best quality cheap touch screen phone beat the rest.

what is Upnp wifi technology ? is it useful for a home user ?
this phone does not have it but the nokia 5630 has it ....
and how the the wifi on this cell phone ?i mean browsing experience with wifi as good as itouch?

Mayur, 16 Sep 2009Can u plz tell me when is nokia 5230 available in pune what... more5530 was supposed to be available in india at end of august.No news abt it.Nokia india is delaying the launch and on top of it they have reduced the price of 5800 to 13.5k. I dunno when 5230 will be available.May be by december. 5530 has 3MP cam,WIFI,smaller screen. 5230 has 2MP cam,3G,GPS, Larger screen. Both have kinetic scrolling.

1. How is the wifi interaction?
2. Can it handle wep n wpa encryptions?
3. Is there any pre installed wifi sniffer application as in E52?
4. How well can the web browser handle flash objects? Since it has only flashlite 3.0 does it handle flash as good as E series phone?
5. How good is multitasking?
6. Does the phone lag anywhere?
7. Kinetic scrolling doesnt work in the main menu, Right?

visk, 14 Sep 2009how is the battery life on this phone?/at first it will stay for about 2 an a half days ... even though you will use it alot at first to learn and know everything ... but as every mobile ... it will start to go down to 24 hours or maybe less ..of course we are talking about years .. this mobile is new and till now the battery is great, but there is no new technology used here ,, so unfortunatly ,,, its the same !

here are your answers
1) U can use it with a screen protector on it
then you dont have to worry about scratches.
2) It is not slow
It slowed a little bit with 16 GB Card
But works good with 8GB Card I am using.
3) Menu system is slightly different and better.
4) I cannot play AVI and DivX files
but can play mp4 files with brilliant picture and sound quality.
5) U will get used to touch screen
or touch QWERTY will be a better option for you.
6) Here U will have to take a little care
U can put it in pocket easily
but throwing on bed and spilling any liquid might cause damage to touch screen.
7) Music is better than 5220!
and almost same to 5800.
8) It gives me 2.5 days backup with 3-4 hours of music play
4-5 hours of talktime
and 500 SMS per day.
9) Headset is terrific!!!
U will be amazed to hear the sound quality on bass booster equalizer.
Guess u will be satisfied now!
