got this news from nokia priority that price of 5800 will fall further to 12.5k but surely not below it.at 12.5k its a steal who cares for 5530 anymore.price fall will happen by end of this month

This phone is now available in the Philippines with the lowest price so far I asked - 12,800. Compared with Nokia 5800 XM which is now 13,800. With a 1,000 price difference this phone is still expensive for me. I have to wait for the price to go down or maybe I will go for 5800 XM if the new firmware update has great additional features =)

guyzz,,,,Nokia has cut down many things from 5800 now...there is no tv out, what rubbish...whats the need to do that....Actually tv out is not a big matter to me, but there may be many small changes they would have done to cut down price...Is memory still 8 gb or they reduced that also???
What about screen resulotion, 16M colours...I mean whether all the features are still there........
I more thing u guys are telling about kinetic scriolling...will the current 5800 will also support that update?

Guys!!! Yesterday I went to 3 different Nokia stores. One said that 5530 XM will come by the end of this month; other one said that it'll come after Navratri and the last one said that it'll come in 2-3 months.
Its quite obvious that they'll release it in the festive season of India to make more sales.
And as far as 5800 XM is concerned, its still 16.5K in Jaipur.

and about the kinetic scrolling for 5800 it will come in oct with firmware version 2.0 which is the major firmware version for all nokia touchscreen phone with lots of improvement this was announced by nokia itself at nokia world so no doubts about that just wait for a month

two days back 5800 was for 18k in mobile store (mumbai) and now it is 14.8k......such a steep fall.....there seems to b sm strategy out here.....guys what do u think will there b kinetic scrolling available for this phone after a point of time..//

i just bought my pre-order 5530 earlier so i also have the bluetooth headset which is really cool!
i don't have any problems about its touchscreen.
i just hope they release a protector as soon as possible coz i don't want my phone to have any scratches.
all in all, i'm totally loving it!
my friends also love it!
the price is really worth it! :))

I think Nokia 5230 is greater than 5530 b/c in 5230 less Money & 3.2 Inches screen but only 2Mp camera otherwise 5230 is Great Than 5530

The 5800 navigation edition won't do great in india. so it's a good thing they reduced 5800 price. That will sell even better than the 5530 yet. TV out..i have it and i have never used it. Even the 5530 does not have it and it' more expensive than the 5800!
