N97 i the flagship device and they don't want to annoy n97 users by also announcing it for the 5800 as it would feel as if the 5800 is as good as the n97! So the firmware will come for 5800 too but quietly

iRs, 10 Sep 2009current price of 5800 in the mobile store [mumbai] is 14799It was 18k a month back at mobile store!

Guy i jst came 2 know why 5800 Xpressmusic price was slashed & why it production will b stopped by end of Oct.
Nokai wants there Nokai 5800 navigator phone 2 sell & ...is making it way by decreasing the 5800 XM price.
SO that why all this happening

Guys, nw really confused.
so much options in mind, not able to finalise 1.
I will wait 1 more month for Deepawali offers. Till that period jst wait & watch, May b tht time we get a clear picture of Mobile Market.
Personally am not satisfied with the 5800 XM. Bcoz, bulky, old and not gud look phone.

So logically now we have two version of 5800.....may be nokia will launch separate updates for this two.....
There may be few problems in 5800 now as its new siftware with few cut down features...

What about music feature of n79 coz i feel that normal bar phones are far more better than touch screen and slider.

i went 2 nokai store & got detail
they said they hav slashed the price caz they hav taken a lot of thing out
& They will b stopping the production of 5800 so they can make way for 5320 .
I saw even the box it same...jst few hardware stuff missing.
& date of manufacture is of last month aud end.
they had planned this all long way.

Guys till now its just tv out feature, who knows what else feature they would have removed, may many small small implementations , plzz carefully cross check n than go for 5800.....I really pissed off with Nokia now...What the hell they r trying....

guys confirmed news tv out feature is now completely removed from 5800 so no tvout cable and no tvout feature confirmed from nokia priority and nokia care.price is 13.5k

I doubt if 5800 will be phased out soon because X6 will be over 30K

@ Rajeev nokia is planning to phase out 5800 b4 Xmas bcoz they planing to launch x6 by then..... and what i feel is that nokia making fool out for indian customers....
