With the advent of 5230, will they release a 5530 with all the bells and whistles? Complete with 3G, GPS, 2nd cam. Now I would buy that over 5800 in a heartbeat!

i'm confused about the price..some are saying just 13K and some are saying 13.9K...what's the actual price dudes??

5530 waz announced in June n became available in LATE Ausust(make tat september)
N 5230 iz announced in August so dont xpect it to hit da market bf4 november(even december)
Cz nokia iz not tat stupid to release anotha phone cz ov which ppl might stop buyin 5530...
Nokia wud want 5530 salz to even xceed 5800 salez.. therefore i dun thnk 5230 will be available bf4 late November...
n plus when there iz 5800 AND 5530 both available not many will go for 5230.
Also 5800 haz 3.2Mp cam with dual led flash which iz rated az a phatetic cam.. So wat wud u xpect da 2Mp NO FLASH 5230 cam to be like

Wi-fi (very usable. Available at many malls/airports/homes),
Sensitive touchscreen but tad small (2.9"),
3MP cam with LED flash,
Good sound quality (XpressMusic category phone),
Subjectively this phone looks nicer than 5230.
5230 has:
3G (Still of no use in india),
A-GPS (rarely works in India),
2MP cam (NO FLASH. So no use in dark)
No secondary camera
Better battery life (nokia claims)
Larger screen (3.2")
Cheaper than 5530.
Looks similar to 5800 (Dated looks)
Nokia makes it more difficult for us to select !
5530 is already reviewed by GsmArena and will be available very soon in stores. If you are planning to buy in sept and cant wait for 1 more month you can go for 5530.
5230 is set to be launched in Oct.

Anant, 26 Aug 2009Hi guys, I have been following this forum for some time an... morethats what the whole point is.just consider this you are getting the same 5800 unit without wifi and with2mp cam at 6k less than 5800 and plus the better refined os.so why will anyone pay 6k more just for a wifi and poor 3.2mp cam.i cannot understand the pricing.and considering 5530 it has just 2.9" screen,no3g,no gps and yet selling at 13k.

Hey buddy if u r following this forum for sometime by reading all the specs u would have already an slf expert....
Its simple if u want 3g no wifi than go for 5230...
wifi go for 5530...
else u always have option for 5800 for both..........
People in this forum prefer 5530 more coz of wifi & solid design infact i go for that atleast.....

Hi guys,
I have been following this forum for some time and liked 5530 a lot, and was even planning to buy one once it is available in Delhi, but now im totally confused. The 5230 just announced , has 3g , gps aswell, even thought it lacks wifi. I agree that it has only a 2MP cam, but mobile cams arnt very good either,(that is the case with 5800's aswell). Rest of the specs as far as i know are the same, the new home screen of 5530, kinetic scrolling , accelerometer etc , all the same.
So guys Give me some solid reasons why should i buy 5530, and why not a 5230 which is abt 3k cheaper by initial estimates. :D

No buddy...No idea when it will be available in stores..I got tired of asking again n again in every shops.....I have given my number to almost every shop in banaglore so that can contact once it reached..........
Anyway I am expecting it this saturday or sunday max....

i was buying nokia 5530 Xm but when i see nokia 5230 its more beautiful & 3.2 Inches screen & xpresson covers . i like it in pakistan now 5530 is in 23000 & 5230 lunch in pakistan may be in Oct or Nov so i am waiting for 5230 its great mobile it may be in 16000 in pakistan . Great work nokia i love nokia
