This phone will outsell 5800. There is a big demand for 200$ touch screen smartphone! It will cannibalize 5800 sales as well...

Heys guyzz..hope to get it soon .....even me almost decided to get a cookie bt after seeing this keep on waiting waiting.....
Yes it does support Document viewer(pdf,doc,txt etcc)
I hope in india they will release with all the colours..
Yes it can defeat star in sales if it priced well.i.e. between 12k to 13k......
infact in this price range it will defeat most of the current best sellers includung 5800 for sure :))

here in philippines, 5800's lowest price is 13,400 Peso or $278 too.
i hope when it is release here, the price of 5530 hope is around USD $200 to $220.

Hi all, i've been reading all the posts in this forum quite often. I am a great fan of 5530 over the past 2 months. I thought of buying LG cookie on my b'day i.e. on Jun 29' but once after seeing the specs of this phone, i changed my mind, since then i'm waiting.... I'm sure its really worth waiting for this phone.
Feature i liked the most in 5530: Its not about the specs, of course the specs are great! I personally like one thing, that is, the chareger pin & 3.5mm jack & USB connector pin, everything is located at the bottom, just as you get see in most of the Nokia classic phones. I don't like to see few holes/ports esp on top of the phone. It is a simple typical design.
Latest update: I checked with couple of nokia priority stores in Chennai, it seems they are very confident about its arrival by this month end.

Rizwan, 19 Aug 2009I dont think 5530 will do well as samsung star did in market..I believe 5530 will be much more popular than samsung but it's sad that nokia have not advertised the 5530 better.

I honestly would have got the 5530 but my old phone was in a desperately bad condition and i could not wait any longer for a new phone.
Both phones are preety great and the 5530 looks better,
but 5800 is not all that bulky as some say. It's a decent size. Better than most e series phones.

Lets not go for that..I mean its a personnal choice with all respect to eshaan...I mean even it comes to me once to go for 5800 & i went to the shop...I mean I didn't find anything extra i am getting in 5800...except 3g & gps....it was lookig so old....So i decided to wait for 5530 or have some other good touch screen phones.
I mean 5530 is sooooo good.....
