eshaan, 18 Aug 2009Hey mate do you know if opera mini accesses EDGE or WLAN?Opera can use both, if you don't know what is your default connection (edge or wifi) go to settings -> connection manager while you are online with opera and you will find out what type of connection opera is using. You can also check the status symbols at the top of the screen. Edge, gprs etc symbol appears on the top left of the screen, the wifi symbol on the top right.

Any of the 5800 users here i have a question.
Opera mini works really quickly but does it run on EDGE or does it acess WLAN? Because no option really comes up for us to select WLAN when using opera...

If you wil anyway wait till mid september then even the price of the 5800 would have dropped. Im using that right now and it's a brilliant phone.

If anyone in the UK wants to know the price, its out here for £129.99 in Carphonewarehouse... but thats in Scotland it might be a diffrent price in other UK countries.

i searched for other smart phones at price range of 12-13K ..but don't seem to find anything better than 5530 yar..

It's usually cheaper than the normal stores but you do not get a bill and hence no warranty. That's why i would advice you not to buy a phone through such markets. Rather wait for it to release in nokia stores.
I saw the 5530 physically for the first time. It looked sleek and well designed

And yes the E63 is a very good and quick device. Infact all the E series are vry very good phones.
