Can anyone tell me if I can use a BL-5J (nokia 5800 battery) on this phone? is it compatible?

i think its the vivid lcd screen that produces the yellowish tint, bc i have uploaded the images to my pc and N82 and view it on Tv the pictures were fine, but if you view it in your 5530's screen its a bit yellowish

Yes... I have to agree with Jett...
Nokia 5530 camera is a good one and it doesn't produce yellowish colored outputs... In fact, it takes wonderful photos under direct sun light...
However when the light conditions are not that good, the photos are getting uglier (as expected) and it's not something special about 5530 alone... For all camera phones it's a common fact...
But I would like to point this simple thing also.. This phone's display has some yellowish tint... (For me it's better though some people may find it bad..) So some people may be mistaken when watching the photos using the phone itself...

to POBON ; Brother you can try purchasing screen protector to protect the main display from scratches & my best recomndation is "CAP DASE". That's the brand name

is 5530 display scratchproof?
now i have a 2nd layer of polythin over the main display. its here from the begenning.
slowly its becomming gloomy(scratches)
cheap polythin layer is available in local market. but i am worried about their quality
should i keep the orginal one?

it well work?....hi there,
it should work.
for example, if the battery is not properly placed
or the battery cover is loose giving enough space for the battery to wobble..
putting a small folded paper in the back tightens the battery against the back cover..
give it a shot!

if youre lookin for a touch phone between 9k to 10k better go for 5800xm or the newer C5 touch with 5mp camera...i have tested the camera between 5800 and 5530, somehow the 5800xm camera is better with brighter and correct color tint compared to 5530's yellowish camera.

trini, 13 Jan 2011i get the same problem. i dont have any applications runnin... moretry to place a small sheet of folded paper in between the battery and battery cover..

my Francesca (5530) is with me for 4 mths now.. with around 30 apps(and still counting) i'm so loving it more!
this is the first mobile that i bought for my self and for me this is the best!
if you are looking for a touch smart phone, a good music player, a nice camera and a video recorder with a cheap price then you are on the right page..
