So the 5530 does support HD recording.. So does it support playback of HD video like 640by480 or 720by480 at 30fps 2mbps..?? N if it supports then does it hang while playback.??
And how is web browsing and flash support? Does kinetic scrolling work in web pages as well?
And finally how does it feel to hold it in your hand?? Man! I'm so eager to this phone..

OR we'll hav 2 wait till dusherra time(probably next month)

Nokia kept saying this will be budget phone & when it comes out its the same price as the 5800? Just checked it out in Dubai mall nokia store, its like 100 Dhs difference. Its a real dillema now 5800 has more features but 5530 looks more sleek, I dont need the 3G & all of the 5800 but it doesnt sound rite 2 pay the same price!

my (4) means that does it feels like the spring of slider-screenlock is too easy to slide and not stiff enough? ( because some users of n97 said that the slider of n97 is loose and sometimes the screen wouldn't lock when they slide it)
and for number (5) u means there's some little gap between the battery cover and the phone body? and the "lock key cover" u means the sim card/microSD slot or somewhere else?

Kabir, have no clue. I don't know about specific of central and south east Asia markets. I can only guess that it should be around 200 euro. It cost 240 euro here.

4. No. Only sound feedback for keys. There is 3-level tactile feedback for display.
5. 8/10. The back cover has a little backlash, so as lock key cover. But lock key itself has not - it's ok. Those are two only problems.

8. Rarely it happens. But usually works fast. It's a lot faster than SE UIQ phones. It take about 17 seconds from off button to desktop and about 30 to fully loaded phone. It was 60 seconds/100 seconds on SE G900. Opera Mobile Widgets 9.5 loading in just 4 seconds. It was 20 seconds on SE G900. You don't even notice those 4 seconds as 2 taken by busy icon, another 1 sec is opening animation and 1 more is taken by opera logo.

1) whats the frame rate 5530xm record videos in? (15/30 fps?)
2) how is the camera?
3) is the touch screen sensitive enough?
4) is there any kind of feedback (vibration) when your touch the 3 keys at bottom (call,menu/back key, end)?
5) how is the build quality of the phone so far?
6) does the screen-locking slider on right side loose?
7) how is the sound quality/volume from the phone loudspeaker?
8) does the phone lag?

DK Nian. Nokia oftenly starts exclusively from Moscow, but prices on release here are higher than in rest of the world. Expect it to be cheaper. It's available from august 4 here and should be widely available from august 11. only black/red is available at the moment. white/blue will be available not early of middle september. It should cost 9500 - 10000 rubles within few months. Nokia 5800 was 16500 at release, now it cost 13500 in average. So, i think, you can expect it to be close to 1100 MYR in Malaysia at start.
More. In Russian firmware it comes with preinstalled Vkotakte program (CIS facebook analog), Yandex online (jabber client with yandex mail), Dictionary (English only, other languages needs to be downloaded. Russian is 670kb), Boingo (wifi network around the world, i think it comes in all firmwares. useless thing, we have a lot of places with free wifi, like almost all mcdonalds, a lot of malls, central Russian Railways stations etc - you don't need to pay for it) with 3 months trial period and livejournal client.

bought it two days ago in nokia brand shop (nosimo) in atrium mall, moscow (it's available in all nokia brand shops in moscow and in eldorado internet shops).

everything is quite good. unfortunately no 4g wimax support, which is widely available here and a lot cheaper than edge. stylus safely located inside of the phone, holding up by three wide bridges, so there will be no problems like with 5800. like with nokia 5800 display is not something special. picture is almost invisible on very bright sun, unlike with my old se g900. dot is very small almost invisible to eye, so picture is very sharp. but it makes problems in some programs. 16x16 pixels icons are very small, popups in google maps have very small font size. yandex maps s60v5 version works excellent. mail.ru agent isn't well oriented on touch, but works ok. yet it has 16x16 privacy icons and contact list icons, so they are very very small. but font size is scalable, so works good in overall. no problems with mail.ru agent maps. opera mobile widges runs very fast, some 3-4 times faster than on se g900. looking forward of upcoming opera mobile s60. xpressmusic unfortunately doesn't have currently playing playlist - you can't add songs to current queue and you can't view what is next song without skipping to next song. quite huge feature lack for such a brand. walkman is better, hope it will be quickly ported once satio is released, as i don't like power mp3, jukebox and coreplayer. hope se will also make 5530 s60 analog (small and thin). 4gb micro sd is very slow - class 4 (4mb/s on write). bought 8gb class 6 qumo for it - 8mb/s on write now. desktop looks nicer than 5800. kinematic scrolling works on all menues and listboxes, but doesn't work in main menu. so if you have a lot of installed programs it makes it problematic to scroll them, as display is sunk a little bit (bevel edge is too close to display).

Dont about wht price it will be launched in india but nokia should have a good firmware for staters unlike 5800 which had many bugs in firmware .. people are still having to upgrade their firmware
