Does s60v5 devices support s60v3 applications??? It shouldn't right? How can an application designed to run on a non touch interface platform run on a full touch screen device.. I had seen someone writing 's60v3 applications are running fine on my 5800' in some blog site..
I am also crossing my fingers regarding the price,hoping for it to be around 12k..

It will be within 130 to 180 pound max.....

& sim free cost a bit high.

i think the price 129pounds is under contract for pre pay...an unlocked phone might cost 235..
check the link..tell me that i'm wrong and the price is low!!

i hav Airtel net @ home more than h... moreHaha yeah even i have airtel broadband at home. I use their wifi. I get 1mbps speed so i don't really need 3G :D
And only MTNL and BSNL have 3G connectivity in india nd even they are not getting too many subscriptions. It's not too popular here in india.

And yeah as you said 3G and GPS is kind of worthless in india. 3G will be kind of expensive here so i doubt too man people would use it and WiFi is good enough for me and there are enough wifi hotspots in mumbai. (have a router at home too :D )

hello eshaan you are right 3G and GPS doesn't matters in India even today most of the city's maps are not available in GPS and 3G! i guess, it takes around 2 years to use the video type communication in our society and i need to know does the 5530 supports all the .sis files cauz i thought of doing project on Series60.

The wait is over- The exact date of Nokia 5530 Release is announced.In the UK Nokia 5530 XpressMusic will be available for purchase from 11th of August at Carphone warehouse.It is priced at £130 for pay as you go plan. For.. let see and wait for other Announcements on later days.

The things with nokia hp is the price were a bit high on the first week and two after it come out. After several week the price will come to stable point.
