im soooo waiting for this phone.. that is if I wont be able to find a second hand iphone 3G from a friend in CA. i want either this or Samsung Star.. no 3G though. if only Nokia added 3G then this phone will be a smashing hit.
i want to see it first in person before i decide which phone to get (samsung star or this)...

amdm, 08 Jul 2009what are you talking about? my 5800 only lasted for 2 mnths... moreMy freind had sony k850i. Just 2 days after he bought it the screen went blank and never turned back on. The service center guys told him that they dont cover it in warranty.
See every sony fone sucks and could not last more than 2 days. Are u ready to accept it???

So, no nid 2 sell my fone, plus d 3g & gps stay w/ me.. If i were u, i won't hesit8 to w8 & buy 5530.. My whole family is w8in 4 it 2 hit d market.. Quite a gud fone in my opinion.. Its worth d w8 bro.. Tnx!..

if u want d 3g & gps, juz ad 2K 2 get d 5800 juz w8 4 d V31.0.015 upd8 w/c wil b cumin soon (diz wik nokia conversation told; if not diz wik, diz month) den u'l have d features of 5530 (bcoz 5530 is a cut-down verse of 5800) plus d 3g, gps & faster internet conxn..

most of d pipol try 2 compare 5530 wid other fones dat r beyond diz fone's capability & price range.. i mean compare 2 d fones out in d market dat's w/in d level of 5530 like lg cookie & star, i think diz 1 is @ d top of d competition.. all hail nokia 4 releasing 5530xm!

watdahell, 08 Jul 2009omg! why its not 3G phone???...My guess is so that the device will be more affordable. Not only this, but 3G isn't available to everyone and a lot of people end up paying extra for a 3G device when they can't even make use of it. As an example, I am considering this device for those very reasons... No 3G in my area, and most likely more affordable than other devices with similar specs.

PAkistan is the 4th largest International cellular market and does not have 3g operators "so Id cant do without wifi". Secondly I did not buy samsung star just cos it has no WIFI. So guys in this price this phone is perhaps the best in this price tag. cheers

Obviously its just a toned down version of Nokia 5800 (there are people who dont need GPS and 3G, but cant do w/o Wifi), so don't OMG. Otherwise, just get yourself a Nokia 5800 or some other brands/models with 3G. Thanks
