all i can say is that im very eager to buy one 5530 for me so that i can be on the latest trends in the gadget world..i do have n70 for my 3G..i do have PSP 3000 for games and wifi browsing..
all i need is this phone to be able to get along with touchscreen user people...
hehe
see yah in the nearest store when it comes in the market..
and see yah in LRT going to the University Belt here in the Philippines..

LOUIE, 10 Jul 2009thank you.. well thats a very good info that i have.. ... moream from philippines and also an addict to new gadget like cellphones,you know 3g is not really needed for a simple mobile communication like calling ang sending sms and mms also browsing the net.as long as your cellphone support edge hscsd or gprs it is enough to browse and download anything with less charge from the network although 3g is faster than those earlier mobile data transfer method it cost a higher charge, also when you are not in the area where 3g is available you cannot use 3g,like other consumers said its a good choice for a mid range user with a full function of multimedia entertainment on cellphone.........have a nice day,,,,,,

everyone...nokia 5530 will be available in july in asia...and it has been correct that its video rec. is capable of 640x360 30fps...

@CoCo: it's the economic version of the 5800, think more of the LG Cookie or the Samsung Star.

This phone has Carl Zeiss lens? It says so in the specs page.

LOUIE, 10 Jul 2009thanks to all who reply to my question... my very enormous... moreyes you can download anything but in a slower data transfer coz its using only edge for gsm network but if you have wifi its too easy connect it to your wifi router and presto you can download anything you want for your cellphone.....
