ok..i have the 5800 XM..this is the same...but with very little modifications...no 3G smaller display. very interesting menu...hmm...its the same practicly software but the 5530 has more shortcuts on the screen if you whant my oppinion on what phone to buy..tryet first

Stop complaining just use yours current phones and be happy, i am happy that no gps, and 3g, i am not using those things this mobile will be great upgrade for music player ;)

i saw on the nokia site india it says it can record vieos in 176*220 resolution & at 15fps,its not good fo a 3.2 mpx cam,and lacking 3g with small battary capacity,but the ear phone shown in pic ia seems to be nokias best

the design of this phone is quite good for looking. but something to me is not so enough. now i am using 5800. then main thing i am concern pf this phone is the network.How come cant support 3G network. i think this type of phone will be sell at the country lack 3G network.

in terms of ripping out money to customers its got to be nokia no more. they make almost same phones and add or cut a couple of minor features and just a different design looks and thats it! another new phone to sell. nokia fans you point out ripping moneys to other phone companies, but look at what your nokia is doing, this is completely nothing new. not thinking, not improving, just creating! ripping moneys!

cheap looking model. i used to be such an avid nokia fan, but now after using samsung i realize i've been a fool. samsung star gives much more features with lower price.
and wat is this rubbish... just 4 hours talktime?? wat is nokia trying to prove??
my samsung star has 10 hours talktime... n its so much cooler... with widgets and 3 desktops n stuff...

5530 is a big letdown by Nokia.

How can you compare Audi A4 and Audi A8. They are both made by Audi, and are quet similar, BUT! They are on different market segments. Who can afford A8 never gonna buy A4 and vice versa. It's the same with this phone. For just 200 Euros it's not a high-end device, it's a mid-range phone and it has more features as usual mid-range phone. So don't blame the phone, if it doesn't fit your needs.
This phone is a direct LG Cookie and Samsung 5600 competitor. Nokia wins this fight with a huge margin!

this looks like nokia wants to make every body use a touch phone. They removed 3g , gps as most of people out there never used gps, and others even without access to 3g. I already thrown out 2 3G phones using for two years each even without accessing

why is is it people think every new fone should just automatically have more features than the last - there is a little thing called MARKETING for some of those less educated posters. They analyze, realize that some people don't need too many features and will be more likely to buy with only the features they need ,at a lower price. All these people saying no 3g and gps is a dissapointment - you already have the 5800!!! If for example car makers followed the same principle that some posters here advocate, there would only be luxury sedans and SUVs in the market. You have to think about the customers usage patters and budget, it no all about just loading up feature . Tis fone is gonna be a MASSIVE success - and i'n not even a Nokia fan.
