naloko, 20 Dec 2010i bought it very costly. but it is not that strong for cont... morereally? I've had this phone for almost a year now and it's very strong. I've dropped it several times already and it's still functioning very well. take note: sometimes the battery gets separated from the unit but it still works when you put it back together again. I'm actually proud that I had bought this phone.

i bought it very costly. but it is not that strong for continuous use. my 5530 broke easily, and now im having problems. i dont want to tell my parents though. im dead.

i stopped all 3rd party app.,los e all program by netquin ,moderate use of phone so battery lasts5 days so happy of that after big anger of everyday charging

I use my phone for sms i use it like 100-200 msgs a day and it never had any issues and i dont even use the QWERTY style keypad still using alpha neumeric. Its a good phone you just need 1 to 2 days of adjusting.

now most of people here said that theres is a 32 update available,bt after wa8ng for mre thn a month still,i dnt get da update,nokia softwear updater shows that 31 is the latest update,so pls help me guys,and bye the way...

Thanks for your helpful answer :) Screen colors does matter to me a lot. In fact, that's the sole reason I am selling my brand new samsung 5310 after only using it for a day.
So, after reading your answer, I guess i'd better by 5530. I just can't stand poor display!!!

Performance wise, Nokia 5530 and 5800 are similar... I don't think Nokia has improved any performance issues in this mobile particularly...
But hardware wise, there could be improvements.. For an example, I always feel, 5530 is solid than 5800... But on the other hand, 5530 back cover is a very cheap plastic product compared to 5800 back cover...
Screen colors are really good in 5530, you'll definitely select 5530 over 5800 if you hold both phones in your hand...
But however, it's true, 5800 has got better battery...
Decision is yours anyway...
I just wanted to make sure you have your facts...
