hi guys,nice to be back,i saw that this phone now comes with 3g,its also mentioned on this site,is there any way that nokia would give a free upgrade for us???

Anonymous, 26 Nov 2010video calls with primary camera using a mirror ?great joke ... moreNot really... With phones like Nokia E65, video calls could be made that way...! and that way ONLY...! (Because E65 has 3G but it doesn't have 3G camera...)
But in case of 5530, we don't really have 3G anyway... so even using back camera, we can't make 3G calls...

kunal, 25 Nov 2010can we run google maps on 5530???????????? n finf my locati... moreyeah we sure can install google maps on 5530 and use it but 5530 doesnt have an integrated gps.so to get your position, either use a gps accessory or you may rely on the agps( your location is found with the network coverage).but agps is not accurate at all unless you have very high signal.

Hi nokia 5530 owners. As we know it, a new update is available and I have a question. My actual firmware is hacked v31.0.005 i knew is hacked cuz when I did a hard reset an app called rompatcher remains installed. i want to update via fota, i checked updates and newest fw v32 is available in my country via fota. So, my question is: Is there any risk to update my actual firmware with this new fw via fota? any chances of brick my phone? thanks for your response.

wow!this is really super.I must confess that nokia is the best.I am a fan of nokia,I love their products...I wish i could testify the goodness of nokia by getting this nokia 5530,what do u think nokia?

Hi Nuwan / Jett / and the 5530XM owners,
Please advice how to delete/ remove the corrupted files (java). I has downloaded java software such as Manga Info; Cinema 21; Metro and Battery maintenance from OVI store however when the phone restart its created new shortcuts, I has remove the files however the shortcuts keep in there (can't remove).
