do you mean, the camera automatically turns on when you press on to the camera capture key?
indeed, because it also serves as camera shortcut key.

bislig, 22 Nov 2010is there other lock features of this phone aside from the o... moreyes, ofcourse there is! this is symbian, you can install 'screen lock' a third party application which lock and unlock your phone by swiping on the screen from left to right just like in iphone.
or use 'pocket sensor', also a third party application which automatically lock and unlock your phone upon taking it in or out of your pocket.
you may search for those applications in d o t s i s . c o m (just remove spaces in between characters)
remember to register first for you to be able to dl an application..

and have you tried samsung galaxy s i9000 looks great to me and there are lots n lots of app available as well. i'm still not sure i should wait little longer like yours n ger n8 or buy galaxy s right away.
and lastly has anyone tried youlu address book on their 5530. i installed it on my handset yesterday and it's just awesome. it has home-screen shortcut(like n97) for 5530 as well.

I wish shazam would be removed in future fw updates, it wasted 5mb memory for that stup*d useless application, b4 i used to have 75mb phone mmry, now its only 69.9mb free phone mmry

[deleted post]Your 5800 and 5230 sux. They are crappy and bulky with pinkish cam. 5530 is the best. It is elegant ang small preferred by classy Americans and Europeans. Only gay Indians and poor Filipinos like your phone. Hahaha

i dont see much of a difference with the new firmware update. but it seems that some of the buttons moved and changed size for the full qwerty

one more suggestion. the GUI will get improvements for s^3 as nokia has dropped plans of s^4. instead there will be regular updates and we can upgrade it like in android.
now we cannot upgrade from S^1(series60)to S^3 but nokia has announced that from S^3 we can get upgrades for future symbian platforms!!!
so dont worry about the gui of s^3!!!

its a good set, only problem i faced is a poor battery. can any one tell me how long its battery runs, mine goes for 1 day at maximum,,,,,,,
