Hi Guys
I am about to purchase the 5610 cause I've heard good feedback. I've heard it "hangs" sometimes. What does that mean ?

A lot of people who have said their phone hangs seem to come from India or Indonesia, or at least those whose comments I've read. And both countries have prevalent non official retailers. Who knows if you bought a chinaphone clone and the retailer told you it was original?
For people in the Philippines, go to official nokia stores, I mean the store's name is actually nokia, or to memoxpress, the company with the Philippine franchise of Nokia, Motorola and SE (alam ko, gahaman sila). For people in the South, there is a memoxpress at Festival mall 3rd floor, Nokia stores at Glorietta 3 3rd floor, Mall of Asia 2nd floor, and Robinson's Ermita 3rd floor P.Gil Wing.

basically...what I would recommend u to do ....is not to purchase this Nokia 5610..!!
It hangs a lot,given that I am not a heavy user and very careful when it comes to expensive handsets like nokia 5610.Moreover,its very fragile when it comes to comparing handsets (especially that rectangular button just underneath the screen ).....
its camera is amazing,yet,again its a very fragile handset... :((((

hey howcome the nokia 5310 already has an update while the nokia 5610 still has no update...
now the nokia 5310 is about as loud as the nokia 5610

I have this phone, nd its amazing, but there is one problem with it, its very delicate, i mean my phone fell twice nd the music slider broke!!

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Yes 6500 slide has carl zeiss lens but many people and even online reviews have pointed out that the lens makes no practical difference at all, so basically 6500 slide and 5610 has equal camera performance. On the other hand K810 lost to 5610 by having a smaller screen with poorer colors, uncomfortable keypad and it uses the more expensive Memory Stick M2 which serves no benefit at all. Nokia phones use microSD/SDHC which is cheaper and faster if you buy a good card (class-4 or 6).
Furthermore K810 only supports video recording up to 176x144 resolution which is very very poor compared to the Nokia phones which support up to 640x480. That's 12 times more pixels than 176x144!
Lastly 5610 being a music phone, wins both 6500 slide and K810 in the music quailty and battery life when playing music. 5610 is obviously your best choice now!

this phone is not that bad..i just bought one.
the sound is fantastic..but the earphones not so... yeah the phones lags sometimes but not all the time. so don't worry guys. just buy this phone. treat it with care.. don't break it like some people
