EnXxO.., 01 Jul 2008for aecee05.. im from philippines to.. can i ask u we're to... morei bought mine at robinsons ermita.. specifically at telecom world,(versaphone[name of store]) i chose that store because my uncle and aunt also bought their handsets there so i sort of trust them. but to make sure that you are about to buy a genuine handset, its better to buy handsets with nokia warranty, although it will be higher in price you, you can rest assured that you bought an original..

                      Hello friends,

i have been using Nokia 5610 from past 3 months and its a spectacular phone to use. But very recently while browsing the phone I realised that memory card can be locked using a password. But I couldn't figure out why even after setting a password memory card still opens without asking the password? Can anybody help?

This is an excellent phone, but sometimes hangs while making calls, very annoying.I have N73 Music Edition as a spare cause it is the best in Nseries especially battery life, personally I prefer UI40 cause it is much easier to use.I just bought Nokia 3120Classic & it is very good so far,so it is up to u people to get the phone that suits u better&remember it is mainly to make calls

Now, some ppl suddenly comes with the theory that the ppl who are facing problem with this model dont have the genuine model. For those i would like to assure you that, my one is genuine, certified by nokia themselves, and the problems ppl already talked abt it, are still there.

after all, its an electronic product. No one can assure more then this. So, its , sort of luck.

its a good phone in terms of muxic quality (accepting the Hang problem) and battery life. but very much avg phone with camera (in the range of 3.2MP comparing to Samsung D900i).

                          good luck ppl.

its been a month since i bought this phone. hanged once, but until now never again... for the battery life, i charged it last saturday at about 12 noon, its tuesday(I'm from the philippines) and it still has full bars... music-wise its true that you can enjoy longer music playback if you use ur headset.. the music quality is great although there are few instances that you can hear faint pops and cracks..(i think its not the phone, its the music file itself coz i can hear it in the songs..) camera quality is above average.. as a matter of fact we even used it as a digital camera when we took a vacation... here's a link http://www.friendster.com/viewphotos.php?a=328144991&uid=25019665 one thing that annoys me is because of the glossiness of the phone its very susceptible to fingerprints, its like if the csi takes this phone for fingerprinting they'll not bother using a high tech machine...hehehe... overall- its a great phone.

I agree with MaxG, if you got the genuine phone you'll not have so much problem.. to make sure that you get an original handset you can go to the nokia websites of your respective countries and click customer service button and from there you can sand an e-mail with the IMEI no. of your handset and ask if its genuine,(trust me i did this coz i was troubled by my phone being a 5610d-1 but found out that it was an original, they replied the very next day...)

Anonymous, 01 Jan 19705610 supports .jar programs only and not .sis programs which are supported by the N-series. However you don't need to install the program, you only need to copy it to the phone or memory card and can open it directly.

Alternatively you can install it with Nokia PC Suite which comes with the CD when you buy the phone.

N73 is a good phone too but it is old already. 5610 is definitely the better choice now!
