such a gloomy announcement. "im going to buy 5610 within this month. wish me luck!" ..it's like, wish me luck! coz they might hand me a phone that crashes a lot, hangs a lot, and restarts a lot! jeez. heads up people! buying a good quality 5610 is like pinning a donkey's tail!! don't be surprised if you'll find urself at a NOKIA CARE center within a month. i was in the same predicament TWICE. luckily they replaced the fon and its been workng perfectly good so far. but hey, im crossing my fingers!

I have Pakistani version of 5610 and its not just 5610 its 5610d-1 when i type *#0000# phone shows 5610d-1 and i think the firmware is already 4.8 . I have got this cell fone before 1 month and i have no any problem yet there is no battery problem , no cracking sound problem no bootups automatically no hanging during playing mp3 or videos or camera and i dont have problem with the flash as well i have got usb drive but i tranfer from the bluetooth because usb catch virus easily and camera is worth mentioning no problem with it obviously its a phone cam and its nice for this kind of money and music is gr8 i have big headphones and i really play music about 2 hr in a day and i play games while making calls as well i have 4 gb card in it and i dont have any problem yet loudspeaker quality is nice and i think i dont need symbian phone now this is my first cell with non symbian tag but i love it and this is for every teen or any stylish ppl who love design and quality thanks

When i dropped it once many of the applicat... moresame with mine, calculator and yahoogo2 lost, and other applications cant be opened. i juz brought it to the shop and let them reformat the fone... according to them, the progrm of the fone might already expired..huh??!! i duno...

I need help with my 5610. Basiclly what happened is that i was using it and the battery fell out. Now the screens stopped working completely and i only hear the Nokia startup sound when i turn it on. Any ideas how to fix this?

And Oh Yeah!!!. When i dropped it once many of the applications in my phone went missing like the calculator and yahoo go2.0, also no applications are workin in my phone anymore. Huh. Man . Nice Phone, but delicate and serious software problems. Nw what can I do to get my applications back?? Someone please reply..

Well , Even i broke my slide button as the phone slipped off from my hands. I contacted nokia care n they said that there is no replacement for the slider, but if we change the panel of the phone then the whole front key panel will be new. but the panels for the phone haven't come yet sadly n i think they're gonna cost more than 2500Rs

we had encountered same problem with our 5610, and mine is much worst bcoz the applications could no longer be opened. what i did was brought it back to the shop where i had bought it. 3 weeks was given to me for a reprogram, this is now on its 2nd week.

Not much complaints EXCEPT the handsfree speaker, hope it could be even louder and clearer, any idea if there's a software to improve this? Thanks!!

sarah, 24 May 2008u know what it does not play mp4, you can just hear musicHey dear! Nokia 5610 Music Xpress can play MP4. Your fone is not able to play that because of the bit rate of movie. Like an MP3 song having 128kb bit rate can be played on most of cell phones and audio players etc.

well i bought this fone 3months ago or so & ll i can say that it's the perfect fone..nevertheless, a couple of days ago it started dialling random contacts while i put it in my pocket ( & the keypad was LOCKED :s )
any1 ever had such a problem ? what did you do ?
