dilip, 5310 is not symbian, it is also S40 just like 5610. Earlier I was talking about 5320 which is an upgraded 5310 with symbian!
Only symbian phones supports sis and N-gage.

Hi to all
I think that this phone is a very good phone but the only thing is that it doesnt stop operation when you slide the phone down ,but except that but Im getting used to the fact,and believe me that it`s worth buying so cum on guys buy it try it and post your comment about the Nokia 5610 Xpressmusic

i think as there is no cover for the lens of camera , people might make it dirty with the finger prints,scratches,dirt. thatswhy, they are complining about the camera of this phone.
normally , photos with this cam.phone are very colorful and good ( little less clear than the photos with an n73 camera due to lack of vario-tessar lens).

Please note that 5610 is a Nokia S40, not a S60 (Symbian) phone. Sis files are for only S60 (Symbian) phones.

Dear MaxG...nokia 6600 is also good looking as it seems...bt i dnt knw abt th performance...bt it is still suprising tht people complain abt nokia 5610...itz sch a nice phone wth sch gr8 picture quality!!!...when th pictures r put in th laptop it seems as if th pictures r taken in a digicam of 6 MP!!!...still nw only once my mobile hs restarted...video in MP4 format is good nd is sound is good as usual...moreover th style nd red colour is so nice...i doubt whether people get th original mobile bcz i hv seen fake nokia 5610 in th market which look 95% exactly as th original set!!!

dilip, not all sis needs to be signed, but most of them that NEEDS to be signed are freewares. RotateMe is one of them.

If you think music is important for you, get the 5610.
If you think camera lens quality and TV-out feature is important to you, get the 6500 slide.
Other than these, 5610 and 6500 slide are almost identical.
Of course, the looks of the phones are also different. I think 5610 (red color) looks more stylish.

me planning buy a cell phone... Can u please suggest me which one to buy as there is a confusion between 5610 n 6500 slide. Bothe seems to be compatible in terms of specifications but the review of 6500 is not great n even there are sum faults in 5610. Please guide me soon as i got to buy them in next few days.

See I bought this phone and I had this problem.. When I receive a text message, the name I registered in my phonebook doesn't appear if the number I typed for that particular name starts with 09#########, but if I record it as +639#########, the name will appear in my phonebook but If that person calls, his/her name will not appear; it requires saving the number starting 09#########.

There are a few new phones presented by Nokia last month but I think none of them can really beat 5610 yet :)
The two new XpressMusic phone, 5220 is a cheaper 5310 with funny shape and music lights, and 5320 is a larger 5310 with symbian and N-gage. But both have only 2" screen and 2MP camera. So 5610 is still the best XpressMusic!
6600 slide is interesting coz it looks almost like a rip-off from 5610, with smaller size on all dimensions, larger battery, and accelerometer. The rest of the specification are identical to 5610. I think this will also be a very successful phone like the 5610, but it is not as stylish as the 5610 casing (especially red 5610), and again many people complain it is not symbian (since the original 6600 was a popular smartphone in 2003)...
