Hi... I just wanted to know whats the max resolution of video i can make with this phone?
176*144 or bigger like 640*480???

Lachy - one bad experience is not enough to tell people not to buy the phone. If you want to be more helpful, why not say HOW the phone is broken? And why you think the music isn't very good, when its reputed to be one of the best for music quality!

many 5610s are already there in the hands of people
one can try the music's clarity on this phone from some friend
(unless a good bitrate music files are loaded into it ex:128bit)
IF U WANT TO INSTALL different softwares do not buy

just wanted to know if this hs is worth getting!
...my current contract runs out in april - and i am going on orange - this hs at the mo is my number 1 preferance. any of u guys suggest a better SLIDE fone?

i bought this phone a few days ago, i highly don't reccomend it. It is already brocken and the music isnt even good on it!

The Nokia 5610 generally has a software problem, I bought it 2 days ago and it's already hanging. The battery life is also shit! Why! Why!! Why!!!

I highly disappointed with this n5610 with in 15 days i had laught problems in the phone phone hangs key pad malfunctioning no ring tone when call comes after 2 hours wall paper disappears plz tell me why these many problems with this mobile

one of the drawback(minor) is
"as the clarity is the best, u have no other choice but to store each music file of 5+MB."
there won't b much difference if we store files of lesser bitrate

it is very hard to say which phone is better b/w n73,5610
it depends on one's interests.

music is far far better than n73 music edition,SE phones(if u use some other headset , it's much better)( can b compared with ipod)
camera is inferior than n73
it's not symbian , so not that fast
availability of applications is very hard.
extremely colorful photos,video comes out of this phone.
u have to be careful in handling the phone( not robust)
no sliding problems from 5 months
better design than most of phones.
sound is better if we use AAC files.

yes u can watch movies but first you have to convert them to a compatible formatt using the software supplied with the phone

This phone has only been out around 4 months now - too early to know if the slider is robust or not. As with anything mechanical, it also depends on how you treat it.

To Himz - You can't install any software on this phone because its not a symbian phone - ie. not a smart phone.
To Shaun - the fact that the phone can restart has been the main subject of the forum on the last few pages.
