Please tell me abt the speakers of 5610 ... is the speakes loud enough as in case of N73

Key pad is so smooth when typing. I can type much faster on the 5610 than on previous phones.
Loudspeaker is way too soft for voice..yet
loud and crisp when listening to music. Even on the loudest setting you need to hold the phone close to you. Useless!
Ringtone is also too soft. On the loudest setting i have missed many calls. If anyone can suggest where i can find loud ringtones (Aust site)it would be much appreciated. Iv searched a few sites with no luck.
When my slider is in the up position ,I have noticed my top slider is somewhat loose with movement left to right. Is this normal with all 5610?

your suggestion did work.
i think nokia should do something fast about this freezing. the earlier the better. i really like this phone and i dont want to change it so soon.

all i can suggest is to try removing the battery but i think you already tried to do so.
Or else charge it for a couple of minutes and try to switch it on.

need someone to help me out ooo.was listening to radio 10 minutes ago and the phone of less than 72 hour went blank.
i have tried all mean to switch it on but it is not coming up.any one with a useful suggestion?

hey ppl this is a very very very good phone wit da latest features just like n series and camera is marvelous after dual flash. it has all da features of da costliest phone. i hve 1 and it excellent. sound is bomb - blasting its excellent. it has even da new slider key for easy swap. i recommend this as one of the best

hi dudes i have bought nokia 5610 only three days back i changed my memory card and was hearing to music when a sudden mess came,the phone switched off and its not working i am afraid phones totally out i ill be scrwed up please help me

Standby time is not 360 hrs.
I think it's around 48-72 hrs.
I got few calls a day(didn't even take picture or listen to music)my battery ran out everyday.... right??? anyone??

I dont know if there is such an adjustment. the only setting i discovered so far is the stereo widening but i guess thats not what ur looking for

A question for all those who had crashes when they recived an sms while they were playing music: Do you use the original memory card that was supplied with the phone or u bought another one?
Im asking this question, cause with the original 512MB memory card i had no crashes however with the new 4G card it crashed a couple of times

Yes you can fast forward both MP3 and Videos. all you have to do is to press the button to skip the song and hold it down. So to be more clear the same button serves for skipping the song and for fastforwarding. Hope it helps

i just received this fone 27 hours ago.. and im loving it! the screen is superb, the camera is good (3.2 MP is more than enough for me), the speaker is SUPERB SUPERB SUPERB!
i love the keypad the most thou. worth of buying? yes, absolutely

You can't say which phone is better. You can only say which phone is better FOR YOU. There are several comparisons with the 6500 on this forum already.
And to Jojo - I give up, I really do.
I dont think I am going to bother replying in this forum any longer, unless I see an ORIGINAL question, rather than a question that has been asked hundreds of times already.

To Baski - There is no option to set this up - it will happen automatically, but ONLY if the person that SENDS the message sends it as a quick (flash) message. If you send a flash message to anyone else, it will open automatically on their phone. But any message sent to you will only open automatically if it was SENT as a flash message. So this can only be controlled by them, and not by you.
To Googool - yes the speaker is louder than the 5310 because there is more room in the 5610 to hold a better speaker. All very slim phones suffer in this way.
To Sid - I don't think there is anything you can do to open pdf files - the 5610 is not a smart phone.
To Trent - I've lost count how many times this question has been answered now. This forum is full of comparisons with the Walkman phones and other similar. It's generally regarded to be better than the Walkman range, but please check the rest of the forum, as the same information is being repeated time and time again here.
