But i still in the favor of 5610 :p

hello ppl i bought this phone yestrday... i had decided to buy the n73 music edition when i went to the priority dealer.. i had also the n80 in mind... so basically i asked for all three handsets.. guys dont think... i you have a budget of 15k inr.. just go for the 5610 wid a 2gig mem card... you just have to hold it and slide it up once and slid e it shut.. you will be in loe with the set... shall most s more functional review maybe a week later.,. as of now... all i can say is that.. n73 is better in terms of the camea.. but guys this is also a 3 mp with dual flash... very good pics indoors adn outodoors is awesome... headfones... havent heard anythng remotely close... sony thump headsets are maybe ALMOST as good.... interface is sexy... slider thing is a very rare and brilliant innovation from nokia.... i wont advice you if you have n95 or n81 within ur budget coz i havent touched them... adn dont decide here... go to a nolia dealer... hold both the fones in hand.. and then decide.. n73 is no doubt a great fone... but decide for yourself... ii am inly comapring the 73 nadn 5610 because i dont want to be called stupid by comparing th 5310 with 5610... c'mon guys.. 10k inr 15k inr... 2 mp.. 3.2 mp.. slider candy bar... take your pick

nice phone. but s40 OS is a disadvantage. better if s60.
can we take a picture from 2nd camera (front)??

I dont think there is a way of turning auto-focus off - why would you want to anyway? That function was something that attracted me to this phone in the first place, and something SE Walkman phones dont seem to do any more, which is why I came back to Nokia!

To N5610 - I dont think it is possible to see the call duration DURING a call, but it does appear at the end of the call, assuming you've allowed that function in call settings.
As for which is better, the 5310 or 5610 - is that really something you need to ask here? Just look at the Nokia website to compare the 2 phones directly!
And at DDH - I've lost count how many times that question has been asked! This forum is now 34 pages long, so the chances are most obvious questions have been answered already.

Hey i sold my n73 to buy this phone.
n73 pros over 5610
1) camera- sports mode(u can click sharp moving photos @ 3mpx) & landscape mode(autofocus off). camera has cover.
2) If u love games then N73 is better bet.
3) Larger display
4) slightly powerful battery......however i ve to charge both (this & previous) once in 2 days so i guess difference is marginal.
5) S60 ie u can install third party applications.
5610 pros over N73
1) clearer display,Yes eventhough slightly small diagonal, 16 mln display is atleast 3 times better than 256 colour display.
2) navigation speed.
3) Camera ohyes.. eventhough it lack sports & landscape mode,
a) camera statuptime isimpressive
b) autofocus is very fast & effective.
c) images produce sharper,clearer & realistic colour than N73( N73 showspurpole fringe in most images)
d)both autofocus light & all sounds of can be muted which is not in case of n73
e)vga ie 640x480 @ 15 fps. video record.
4)Music Quality of this phone is ahead of se walkman. It has same ammount of bass & higher clearity.N73 is not even half of the walkman
5) N73 hangs a lot.
6) Apart from 3d games Third party applications r useless. u can be fond of these applications at start but after a while
u get bored (unless u r using Ms office & pdf to read in mobile frequently, i think its rare case becouse it not easy to use these softwares on phone)
7) U can watch dvd quality videos on 5610.
8) compact & better looking.
If u r symbian freak then go for N73
If u r Multimedia freak then go for 5610...

Speakervolume of this phone is not great,But headphone volume is one of the highest & more clearer thanmeny phones.

the 5610 is obviously better than 5310! although the 5310 is slimmer, the 5610 beats it in both beauty and functionality. if i were you, i'd buy the 5610. and for the comparison chart jus' click on compare when on the specs.

question: one differnce between 5610 and 6500 slider is the tv-out option. 6500s supports output to tv, the 5610 (official) not. has someone the possibility to test the 5610 with the tv-out cable the 6500s comes with ? both have a lot in common and come with 2.5 socket. tv-out would be a great feature for the 5610! thx in advance

To worried_buyer - in this very forum I have directly compared this phone to the W580i because I used to have that phone. In my opinion the Nokia is much better. As I keep saying, just check back on previous pages.
To eddy - no the screen is not a touch screen.
To Jhonnybv - its a quad-band phone so yes it does work on 850.

hello everyone. i am in a complete dilemma about buying this phone. i have read the gsm review of SE w580i. i like everything about the w580i phone except for the fact that it has a back-dated 2mp camera and the not so good keypad which gets cracked according to most users. now i will b highly grateful to gsmarena if they can come up with their 'most reliable' review of nokia 5610. what abt u ? the users of this phone? wat do u think the pros and cons abt nokia 5610?
