Guys, we're getting the same questions time and time again - why not read the previous pages first!
The operating system is S40 and yes it does come with a memory card, the size of which depends on the country you bought it. In England it seems to be 2GB. You can use any headphones you like as the remote control section has a 3.5mm socket in it. The button on the adaptor advances track in music player and answers an incoming call but you can't play/stop/pause with the standard one. I think there is another set you can buy as an accessory which does have these functions.

hi everybody. i was looking for some review so that i can buy 5610 without confusion. but my bad luck was bad. i bought this fone 2 days before. im happy with this mobile. but some problem i got....
1# Mobile doesnt show call duration during the call.
2# u will miss call if u go in the crowd. because its sond is not loud enough.
3# it hangs and restarts when u work with net and music or camera at a time.
4# picture quality is too good. but not like nokia n73 me.
5# sound quality is better than n73. clear and crisp, and if u use better headphone u will enjoy its sound. i can say its better than any other mobile ,also n73( through headfone).
6# it looks sexy and just wowwwwww.
7# overall a nice fone. but volume is too weak.
people who r looking for best output, then must go for n73. but i u think ur young, punk, and wanna have some extra look and extra feel... u have no other choice except 5610. and remember 1 thing, 5310 is a bogus phone. dont buy tht.

well, I can't.
if I'm playing and use the slider, the game closes down. Pity, I hadn't noticed it.

PLEASE, Any one tell me if i could slide the music button left and bring the music player interface while i am using a JAVA APPLICATION or JAVA GAME?SE walkmans has this opportunity. i.e.while I am playing a JAVA GAME,if i press the walkman button,the player comes forword and pressing again,it minimizes. DOES THIS 5610 HAS THIS FUNCTION?If no,how can i play/stop music while playing a game?Can i fast forward or pause with the headset remote?

Brought a 2gb scandisk make memory card & now my phone picks it up with no problems, maybe it does depend on the make of the memory card after all!!!

oh heck,,,,why the hell does this phone always ends up hanging and freezing making me dilike this phone???... c'mmon i changed frm w810 to this phone with expectations of having greater features.... and now this freakin phone lying in front of me is good as being an expensive paperweight!!! screwd!!! should have kept my w810,,,,,,,,,,,,, :(

Hi all, i am a die hard Sony Ericsson Fan but still i bought this phone for my girlfriend as a christmas gift. It is a very good phone except for the camera which i don't find good according to its 3.15MP. And by the way, can someone please tell me how to use the secondary camera, the one on top of the screen. Is it activated only when doing a video call???
Good things with this phone are: Good Sound output, quick response to the memory card (1GB), good shortcuts which we can edit easily, good look, slide seems durable.
Not satisfactory things: Camera and its options, the speaker is too low ans therefore when we hold it in our hands the sound quality decreases a lot. Battery runs out very quickly (have to take another test).
Overall, It is a good phone - i give 7 out of 10.

actually I paid 338e "only" because I had a "bonus exchange ticket", the mobile costs here in Spain , unlocked, 380 euros (1gb card)and the 6500 slider about 435 euros.With 256 mb card.
