400 Euros?? Thats expensive. I paid £200, the equivalent of 280 Euros.
This has only happened once to me in 4 weeks so Im not going to get worried unless it does it more often.
And to the person that mentioned the Blackberry - that's a ridiculous comparison as they are 2 very different phones. This is a dedicated music phone, which would have better music quality than the Blackberry.

Marcus.....exactly what has happened to me twice today!!! I'm sooooo fed up!
It has stopped twice, all of a sudden and then the music library has restarted ,went blank and restarted. I'm fed up. SE is a piece of rubbish now, and now this????
Should I exchange the phone????????? Tomorrow is the last day I can do it. What is gpoing on with these manufacturers....400 euros is NOT CHEAPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP

I've checked the review of Nokia 5610 at www.knowyourmobile.com. But I think its not as detailed as GSM Arena's reviews. Because GSM ARENA's reviews are well categariezed, clearly mentioned/discassed every issue along with snap shots & the main thing is the option of "Advantages/Disadvantages", from which a person can quickly guess that how this phone would be for me. Thus once again I request to gsmarena's experts to please, please, plzzzzzzz post your review of Nokia 5610 as soon as you can. Thnx in advance

I've heard a few people say that their phone resets itself but mine hasn't done it once. I think with any new phone there could be bugs, which could be rectified with firmware updates. The only odd thing mine has done was yesterday, when listening to music the phone suddenly stopped playing and went through the "library update" screen, which normally only happens when you first turn it on.

well the phone looks n sounds excellent. but does have its cons. the phone moves into default mode frequently. the ringtones set for each profiles gets changed without notice. also i am not able to install any themes from PC Suite. Pls tell me if anyone has the same problem and advice. havein purchased this just bcoz of my opinion, i have lost confidence in me. my previous purchase was 5500 sport which too dint survive for 6months.

To answer some questions recently asked:
As has been said many, MANY times on this forum already, you can't use the front camera for anything other than video calling! I'm really not sure why you would want to anyway, with such a good camera on the other side??
Mine picks up the memory card every time with no problems, and Im using the maximum quoted 4GB. It wont read the card with the back cover off though. I know previous Nokia's have had compatibility problems, so maybe try a different make card. I'm using Sandisk.
Yes it does show fingerprints easily, and I dare say the 6500 Slide is better in this aspect as its made from different materials. However, I'm fairly sure that the 6500 doesn't have the dedicated music chip that the 5610 has. So, just clean it with a cloth regularly!
The slider can be used to answer and end calls, or not depending on how you've set it up. Go to "settings", "call settings", "slide call handling".

just wntd to chek,if i dial a no using the keypad and thn slide the ph back down, the call gets discnncted.any way of preventing this. thanks
will get back about batt perf later as just bought this ph.

its leave very messy finger prints on the key pad and navigation keys...dont u all think so?looks good when branded new...looks untidy when used up...6500 slide is much better..6500 looks tidy...no scracthes and finger prints...hehe...what a phone...

what shall i buy the 6500 slide or the blue 5610 ??? im very confused..the only thing that i can see wrong in the 6500 is that it does not have any protection to the tft

I have just received my 5610 today after selling my 6500 slide cause that kept resetting to default settings & was driving me mad. I will be back with a comment in the next few days. At mo i am giving the battery a good charge for the first time.
