So I guess people looking out for better sound thru the speakers of the phone, then Nokia N 73 is much better than this one except tht Nokia N 73 does not hav 16 m colour display.

its gud 2 have dis 1 .. sounds perfect 4me and cool style.. grab this 1 to feel the satisfaction..

The phones sound quality is louder and better than any walkman series phone( well ones i own, w910, w580, w800) the loud speaker isnt so loud but its pretty good for what it is, the battery life is fine. i charge it every 3 days. its not slow with a 4gb card, but when you update the music or turn on the phone it has to load the playlist once, takes about 3 mintues for a full 4gb.

I am confused, what should i choose 5700 or 5610. Camera, i didn't care much about it. I want a perfect music phone. Sound clarity. please advise which one is better. 5700 or 5610.

I was using SE w810i which phone has the same problem. It can't run softwares like smartmovie or any other .sis format.
Now please tell me how can I get SmartMovie.jar
....please man

Firstly, most people are asking questions that have been answered many times already - check back on previous pages!
My last 2 phones were the W810 and W580. The sound quality is as good as either of these phones, plus move volume too. But the supplied earphones are not good quality - change these and you'll find the sound every bit as good as any Walkman phone.
The battery lasts 2-3 days, depending on much you use it. The sound from the speaker is lound and as clear as any tiny speaker could be, but since its mono, why would you use it when you can get great sound through the headphones!
The camera is good and the flash is MUCH brighter than the one in the W810.

wohoo.... im a proud owner of this dam gd phone... jus changed to it from my w810....:(... its really good in all aspects,& i tend to compare it much with SE w810... the camera in this nokia is doing pretty good, but it jus lacks the 'oomph'factor of the w810...its just that the resolution is higher but the camera algorithm seems to be same as the other basic 2mp cam phones. thanx to autofocus there is more detail in it,,,, it nearly matches the quality of w810, but w810's pix look more lively.....the music part of it oso does well,, well the speaker is real loud and does its job well, wish there was more clarity in the sound production but still it fares better than the high acclaimed 5700 sound production chip.and better than other nokia's i guess..... and the S403rd edition OS is doin well---its not symbian by the way... and the special part of this phone? it comes with opera mini... it surfd and loads webbies dam fine just as a normal web IE..... this one of the best non-OS, non-Nseries phones available-- GET IT

this fone will rival with n81 from s60 section n direct rival with w910 walkman phone from se
the three have their own advantage
w910 has motion sensor
5610 has great cam
n81 has symbian os

yes camera clarity is superb.. its 3.15 MPX camera with autofocus and dual LED flash...
its simply great....
and ya the package contains a 3.5mm adapter... so uu can plugin ur favourate earphones...
so just enjoy buddies...

Just had a small question, tried searchin online but no luck...
Does the Nokia 5610 XM support a 4GB "SDHC" memory card ??
If not, is the regular 4GB SD card recommended, as in will it make the phone run slower ??
N Whats the best recommended memory card for this phone.
