guys , the handset costs 13,000 rupees in bangalore , mumbai , chennai , new delhi and all over the country. And i think , for a 3.2 mpx camera as well as for an express music phone , the price is really really worth. what do the others say ?

Oh...like i've said the sound is excellent, Loud and Clear and mainting most of the tones [not loosing much base] but hey it also depends on the headphones/earplugs too for the sound quality, i'd recommend get sony's fontopia earplugs [or use the w810i's if you can get em, works dam sexy with 5610 ;)!] It's 40 Series type, mostly java based. Don't like to get a OS symbian yet cause that had bring the battery cycle to half! But if you are a hard, loud, music mover..GET IT. The Camera's reasonable [miss that w810i crispness] but this phone is a definte choice for the Music Rockers. If you could get 5610 rather than 5310, spend a lil more and get better enhanced features besides...sliders are sexy now a days ;) Phone's fast, dosen't stall when running java apps, the screen colours are excellent and crisp.

Assalam o alikum/Hello: It's been like 48 Hrs since i've had this phone, the sound is excellent, i'm a through SE fan..but this time i think Nokia hit it right! One down side to mention though, get a good pair of earplugs/headphones, the orignals aren't that good, not much base nor are the fontopia (w810 styled)earplugs, that blocks out the amibent noises. But the ease of use and the sliding mechanism is fine, previous phone that i had and used well was w810i.

i want to know which cellphone has the loudest sound with regards in playing music in loud speaker...
N73 ME, 5700, or 5610???

To annie-- the keypad of 5610 is absolutely perfect . No problem with the keypad. If u want a music phone ( great sound ) and a camera phone ( 3.2 mpx ) , then go and buy 5610. U ll be happy. But , u cant install any symbian softwares. If u dont want to install series60 (.sis) softwares and if u are happy with series40 (.jar) softwares , then go ahead and buy 5610. Cheers !

To ish-- you cannot install s60 in 5610. Because , the handset runs on s40 3rd edition. So , u can install basic java softwares ( with .jar extension ) .

To sasa-- n73 me may be superior than 5700. But , what about the price ? N73me has got a 3.2mpx cam and 2.4 inches screen. Apart frm that , 5700xm beats n73me . Also , as i said , the price of n73me is quite high ( n73me is nearly 100$ to 120$ more than 5700xm ) when compared to 5700. So , if a person is not 2 conscious about taking snaps , better choice would be 5700.

i wanna buy dis cell but m very cofused..previousli i had SE W580i but i didn't have a good expreience from dat phone cuz its all keypads got cracked..so i jus wanna knw dat r the keypads of nokia 5610 too soft to be cracked by doing messaging?...waiting plz guide me

i dont agree with u coz i have own n73 me ots ok but i n5610 is my next phone but is 5610 has mega bass like sony phone and can u compere with w serries wich one is the best of sound

When 5610 is compared with 5700 , i think its really worth buying 5700. The only thing that makes 5610 superior than 5700 is its 3.2 megapixel camera as of 2 megapixel camera. Apart frm that , 5610 hasnt got any features that can beat 5700. Because , 5700 runs on symbian OS series 60 3rd edition , we can install loads of softwares , themes and games. Also , 5700 has a dedicated audio chip and has also got stereo speakers. So , if u want a handset for music as well as for softwares , go for 5700. Cheers for 5700 !

To james-- nokia 5610 runs on series 40 3rd edition. So , u cannot install smart movie ( to play videos in avi format ) or any other softwares , with extension .sis , u can install softwares amd themes only with extension .jar and .nth respectively. Whereas on handsets that runs on series 60 ( like 5700 , n70 , n72 , n73 , n95 , n81, etc. ) u can install all the softwares and themes with .sis extension. So , if u want a handset basically for installing loads of softwares and themes , then dont buy this. But , if u want good music and camera and basic java softwares , u can buy this handset.
