Hi..i got this phone in dec/2007.Please please don't go for this phone.It has somany disadvantages.Mobile get's struck up suddenly and it will not start gain until u replace the battery.This is the very very serious problem that iam facing for the last one year at least for 365 times.This is the worst product that i have ever seen from NOKIA.

I have a 5300 cellphone, but i'm not contented with it. I want to buy a new cellphone which is the Nokia 5610. But when i viewed this website, i caught that nokia 5610 contains negative features. Commentors have a negative idea about that mobile phone. Are they telling the truth? Please answer my question. So I can decide if I'll still buy that mobile phone. Thank you.

my fone was okay now when i update the softaware from version 6.30 to 8.30. it works far better before it was updated, it never hangs and the sotware is okay, but still crucial care for my fone because its harware is not good enough as it seems.

Apparently it is not permitted to express here anywhere near my level of contempt to those who designed, manufactured, tested and decided to go forward with the production and selling of the phone despite its poor design, manufacturer defects, test results and failure to perform -- even though it would not be based upon race/ethnicity, sex, sexual orientation, disability or religion, even though it would be based upon the intentional production of a HORRIBLE phone (who cares how it looks?). Though touted by T-Mobile as an "upgrade," it isn't. Don't buy it. Don't support Nokia. When I called Nokia, their call-center idiot (not based upon race/ethnicity, sex, sexual orientation, disability or religion) told me to check their website for a software update to see if that would correct any of the problems. When I asked if there were any software updates, he said no. Without going into the specific problems I've experienced with its phone function, address book, text and messenger services, music player and camera feature, suffice it to say I'm glad Nokia doesn't manufacture pharmaceuticals -- the patients would be dead.

this is a gr888 phone, but i hate the camera sound and that it cant be turned off, plus that when you use the music slide and then press back, it will not return to the same place that you were in, like the SE...just

Once again Hi to all Nokia fans. You can read my comment on 1/9/09 regarding my experience w/ the 5610. I've gone thru hell & back trying to figure out the problem. A word of advice to all, DO NOT BUY FROM AUTHORIZED DEALERS, THEY ARE NOT T-MOBILE CORP. THEY ARE OWNED BY A PRIVATE CO. That's where I originally got the Nokia 5610 & wasn't aware that they were owned by a private co. & not T-Mobile. Anyway, after a long & tiresome dispute w/ T-mobile they came to the conclusion that this authorized dealer might have been selling refurbished phones! Please note that the Nokia 5610 was recalled a little over a year ago due to problems with the display...per T-Mobile, the problem was fixed & put back on the market. I've read your comments & hopefully I'm as lucky as some of you who really like the 5610. I just hope that with the new shipment that T-mobile is sending me(brand new phone from the manufacturer) the signal/coverage problem is fixed...I'll keep you posted! P.S. why I like Nokias over others? they get dropped & don't break!(well, at least not that easy...they are sturdy.)

my nokia 5610 is really awesome to be used.... you can simply get it when you need a sweet phone....

My 5610 was really awesome so far and the only lagging thing is the missing navigation buttons on headset. Hope Nokia will upgrade for the next models..

I bought this phone (the blue) and had no problem. Looks like mine was recently manufactured, it came with the latest firmware. Maybe Nokia fixed the problems with this phone.
A friend of mine have this phone too (the red) and its still perfect. I saw him dropping his phone from 1,5m and didnt broke.

Good day to everybody!!! I have problem on my nokia 5610, before i can make online on yahoo thru my mobile, but i think i make some changes and now everytime i want to connect to messenger in yahoo thru my mobile it always ask me to "redirection" always asking to redirection to another server... Im very please and thanksful to those who can help me regarding my problem.
