I ordered the "chrome" colored 5630 from mobile city online for about $213 shipped (see "check price" on GSMA for a link to their site). This is by far the cheapest I've found, and having living in NYC, I have been by their store a few times so I know it's not some fly-by-night internet shop. Only suggestion, call first and ask them to verify they have it in stock before you order.
PS: If you're worried that the phone looks a little too kiddie/teenage for your tastes, go with the chrome color scheme instead or the red or blue. Very mature looking in all but direct sunlight... then it has a slight glitter look to it from the metallic coloration in the plastic.

Please tell me about software file type which is support by this mobile, i try to install fring and nimbuzzz with sis and sisx file extension but this set is not support this type of file please send me file name

I received mine a few days ago and so far my experience with this phone has been fanastic. The phone's ergonomics are great and it feels solid, yet comfortable in my hands.
Battery life seems to exceed what the review/specs list. After fully charging the battery with the phone off, I got about 1.5 days of extremely heavy usage out of it while I set it up; lots of WiFi, moderate texting, 3-4 hours of both music playback and calls using the loudspeaker, and installations/reconfiguring the menus. I expect I'll get 2-3 days between charges out of the phone if I keep from using the WiFi constantly. Phone is also extremely fast, and email setup was simple.
Stock headphones are pretty darn good, in my opinion, and the antenna seems to be a lot stronger than most of the phones I've seen or used. My friends (and my old phone) all get 1-2 bars usually at my house; I now average 3-4 bars (see con below).
Only cons I have with the phone, besides camera and fingerprints, are
* can't seem to figure out a way to use the LEDs as a flashlight/torch
* harder to type emoticons (smileys) when texting
* antenna is at the bottom of the phone; dropping calls can be more of a problem in areas with weak signal.
*easy to muffle the loudspeaker if you're typing on the keypad (like when texting or surfing the web).
The SE c905, the SE Elm, and the Nokia E52 where the other phones I looked at before deciding to get the Nokia 5630. Overall it's a great music phone that can also surf the web, view office documents, and take the occasional picture.
PS: If you want a great camera phone, I suggest a SE c905. I recently debranded one for a friend and used it for a few days. Only cons are the keypads (small and non-tactile, d-pad has sharp edges), and uses a Fastport for data transfers/charging/headphones.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970No dear,the phone is not officially launched in India,so u wont find it in any Nokia store,neither u can order it at concept store.The best option is,if you have a friend or relative visiting Dubai,you can tell them to buy one for you.Its available in UAE for AED 675.Which is approx. 8800-9000INR.You can also buy it on ebay.in,for 11,350INR.

Wat can i say about this phone, Guys. This a gem of a masterpiece from NOKIA. A truly all in one phone. If any1 hav thoughts of geting it.JUST GO 4 IT, Dont think twice

dont buy this ***king phone, i have it, and it is b***s**t... yesterday i had 1 day, 9 hours of music, today i have 3 hours, 30 hours dissapeared... and lot of programs, pics, sounds, games became corrupted...
I REPEAT DON'T BUY THIS PHONE!!!

Please Help!!
I buy 5630d-1 with latest firmaware.
But when i am trying to reinstall device
software, i have this message:
Internal Error.
Downloading of the variant package failed.
Most probably there is a non commercial
software in your device.
Anybody knows what this is?

its a smartphone worth of a two thumbs up. iv been using it since october of 2009 unitl now and its still working good. the camera resolution is good too with proper light conditions. its features are great too. i highly recommend this phone.

I bought this phone 2 days ago and i LOVE it! It allows me to download wallpapers and other stuff online directly to my phone. Very good speakerphone esp when playing music. User friendly and I trust NOKIA based on the quality of their phones.

an excellent product.batt life is decent.pretty much an all-around phone.price tag is reasonable.was able to get 1 for only 9,300 Php at alabang town center last march 11.
