hey YHANSKI!! im from philippines too... how much did you have your phone that 5630? please give me the exact price in peso..thanks..im intrsted with this like i think its perfect, slim, fast, wifi, music cntric, good cam..and ofcourse its symbian ran phone.. nokia has own ways of ruling people here huh.. pls respond...

Seems like a great phone for a great price!
I have t-mobile which supports this phones 3g coverage if anyone wanted to know. T-mobile also sells unlocked phones like the nexus one and supports most unlocked 3g frequencies not sure about other US service providers. LED flash is not amazing but however comes in very handy as a flashlight, more times then you think. I'm the kind of person who has to have either a qwerty or keypad because touch screens are cool but have lag and texting or typing can become slow or the screen could be unresponsive. This seems like a nice phone I like how the unattractiveness of this phone has lowered it's value because it really does all the things a smart phone should as for GPS I was told about a yellow pages phone application that gives step by step directions with out the use of GPS u just type in your start location and end location and it calculates. Overall I would suggest getting this phone because nokia has packed so many features into this slim phone and it's not given it's due credit but on the other hand the price is cheap because it's not in high demand, undiscovered by many in the US. If your looking for a camera phone maybe not your best bet.
Also as battery life goes:
As soon as you take the phone out of the box put the phones of the charger until it is complete. The initial charger plays a large role in future battery life.
Have a question about the texting. Someone said it skips if you go fast. I text extremely fast and with t9 is this a problem for everyone or just that one person?

this phone is great. Some says that i c0ntains unfixed bugs. . Aftr i upgrade my firmware. . There n0 m0re issue.. . Camera is good, and i have a two thumbs up on the musics. . It is really a must have gadget. . Slim, easy to use, sync usng wifi. . . One best feature i like m0st in this phone is having a series60v3 operating system and runs fast even i have m0re than 5 applicati0n running in d bckground. .by the way, im from Philippines.

Hmmm. 3rd day and i'm getting used on it
i like it very much
though it takes somehow long time to recharge but i like it
very fast
very practical
but i hope there were more powerfull battery that lasts more coz it didn't take more than 12 hrs
i need 6 more hours

whew. i just bought this phone and i am dissapointed. my old phone SE w810 is much better than this phone.
its not recommended for filipinos..
the camera is very dissapointing..

WARNING!
excessive plugging of usb connector/charger may wear off the connections inside the hub. mine is not charging anymore. took it to nokia care center here and they've just acknowledged the issue. it's a great phone, though. highly recommended.

Hi folks got this phone two days ago and am delighted with it but was wondering about battery life, how long does your phone last for and with what settings turned on ? Did ye notice an increase in battery life over time?

I have a nokia 5630d-1 ..its so cool..it's lightest phone i've ever touch..also fast when using the net especially opera..a great phone..no regrets..

NOKIA change the LENGHT of this phone to 100mm and intall GPS reciever. Compact phones are the best. other than that its very acceptable.

EErp this has a dula flash not just one. This phone would be perfect if it would have gps but it doesn`t have:(
