Hello friends.
I bought this mobile 2 weeks ago.
The first two charging were successful.
But now the phone says " Not charging". "Unplug charger to save energy". I have the latest firmware too. USB charging has no prob.
Plz someone help me.

Xeno, 18 Dec 2009umm.. u could always DOWNLOAD themes in websites like zedge... moreHey Xeno, that's exactly what I'm doing, there are very cool themes on Zedge which I tried installing,and I like to change the wallpaper sometimes acc to my "mood" but as I said when I disconnect the usb cable the wallpaper automatically reverts to the default wallpaper of the theme.. very strange and annoying, and stranger I hear no1 else complaining about it around here.
Another disadvantage would be the speaker volume which is a little low compared to SE for eg. Sound from headphones (creative) rocks.
Another thing when you send an sms to a contact with multiple numbers, it lists the numbers without showing which one is the default, not the case when calling the contact where the list shows the default number underlined.

nobody can turn off the camera sounds without hacking the phone. nokia is an avid supporter of anti-voyuerism and the camera sounds are just for that to deter any voyeur with indecent motives of upskirting in public places..

I think I know your problem... (About changing the theme when you charge the phone)
1) Go to connectivity then USB
2) Select default connectivity mode to "PC Suite"
3) Then charge your phone as you wish
I think above solution will do the trick.
(As long as you charge your phone through PC USB and as long as you have selected your USB connection as a USB storage device the software installed in your memory card is not functioned during the connection. I suppose your themes have been installed in your memory card.. And you're charging the phone using your PC.. Am I right...?)

For your first question about GPS,
If you mean hardware can be installed inside the phone...?
No way.. I'm sorry... But you can buy a simple GPS receiver with bluetooth facility (it will not be that expensive. My estimation is not more than 50 US dollars) and then connect it in to your phone. Then you can have GPS facilities in your device.
There's another option. You can use your mobile service provider's facility of GPS. But this is not that accurate but when you use GPS software in your phone it'll ask you whether you have a bluetooth GPS device or you simply like to continue with network facility of GPS (that's get the coordinates from your service provider). This is not accurate as I said but fair enough.
For the web browsing problem, actually I did not experience any hanging of this phone. (It's very unlikely with it's very fast processor) If you're using the default web browser I strongly recommend you to update your firmware immediately. (There may be a bug in web application.)
But most effective solution is to use Opera Mobile web browser which is an excellent choice. (It's just like you're surfing net through your PC. Tab browsing, animations etc...) Very cool... Dear brother... It's a symbian phone and make use of it... Don't use default sofware... (We all have Microsoft windows but who uses it's crappy web browser...? We all use Mozilla Firefox instead..)

Hi Guys.. is there a way to turn off the camera sound? because even in silent profile the camera makes noise. the only option i see are 4 sounds for camera. please help.

Bought the 5630 2 weeks ago and have 2 observations so far:
The preinstalled themes seem very strange, they all have a black background, only difference is the standby wallpapers! Any1 else notice this? What's the point of calling them themes!
Also after installing other "proper" sis themes from the internet, after connecting and disconnecting the charger from the phone, the wallpaper automatically changes to the default wallpaper of the theme applied (doesn't happen though with the preinstalled themes)
What's going on!! Any1 have an explanation? Checked for firmware updates but I have the latest vs. Would appreciate any input

My problem solved.... Updated the phone with the same firmware.. Its working gr8 and too fast internet surfing and downloading... USB charging is just ausum.

Even ive got the same problem after update of my phone to this version. Frndz plz check if ur calender is working properly. Please some1 give some solution for this problem as my setup wizard is also not opening, though its not the thing that v use still it means that there is a problem with this version. Please reply someone. Im eagerly waiting for some solution

I finally got this handset, its good but i have problems regarding opening of calender, i have the version of 012.020 do i need to update it and even if i update it, will the applications that are there in the phone like facebook get deleted... Plz reply. M in a big confusion as to what to do.. Thankx

i want to ask since there is no GPS on the Phone 5630 can it be installed.

And what makes Nokia Phone to be Hanging especially when Browsing on the Net with your Phone, is it that the home page your going is too big or that Rom or Ram of the Phone can't Acces the site and is not so in Other phone like Sonyericsson.
